| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo consiste en diseñar e implementar una serie de mejoras con el fin de optimizar los recursos y aumentar la productividad en el área de producción de SUELAS GALLEGO & CIA LTDA; buscando también servir de apoyo a la gerencia en la creación de herramientas que contribuyan a la toma de decisiones acertadas y a la generación de ventajas competitivas que permitan enfrentar el exigente mercado actual del sector del calzado. El documento inicia con la descripción general de la empresa, y continua con la presentación del marco teórico que se utilizó para el desarrollo del proyecto. Posteriormente se desarrolla el programa 5 s, actividad con la cual se busca cambiar la manera de pensar y actuar del trabajador. Luego se muestran detalladamente las características del proceso de producción de suelas en caucho y se desarrollan las actividades que conforman el estudio, para finalmente identificar las restricciones del sistema y determinar estándares de tiempos y producción, los cuales se utilizaron para planear y programar de manera adecuada los pedidos, además de contribuir en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de costos real. Por último se realiza la evaluación y seguimiento respectivos a través de la creación de un sistema de indicadores con el fin de medir y controlar continuamente todo el proceso productivo. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This work consists on designing and implementing some improvements in order to optimize the resources and to rise the productivity in the production area of SUELAS GALLEGO & CIA LTDA; it is also intending to serve for support to the management in the creation of tools which help to make righ decisions and to generate competitive advantages that allow to face the demanding current market of the footwear sector. This document starts with the general description of the company and continue with the presentation of the theoretical marke used to develop the project. Then it is develop the 5 S program; this activity pretend to change the worker's way of thinking and acting. After that, the features of the production process of soles in rubber are shown with defail and the activities that conform the study are developed, moreover the system restrictions are identified and the time and production standards are determined, they were used to plan and program the orders in a proper way, and they contributed in the design and implementation of a real cost system. Finally, the evaluation and revision are made creating an indicators system in order to measure and control the whole productive process constantly. | |
