dc.description.abstractEste proyecto se desarrollo con el propósito de entregar una herramienta computacional que facilitará el manejo de los inventarios y las cuentas por cobrar en la Estación de Servicio Texaco No. 12. Nace a partir de la necesidad de mantener un control sobre dos de los principales activos del negocio, como son la cartera por créditos otorgados y los inventarios de mercancía, los cuales representan el capital económico del mismo. El software se diseño, desarrollo e implemento utilizando la metodología basada en el proceso unificado de Desarrollo de Software, tomando como lenguaje de programación el Visual Basic Versión 6 y MySQL como motor de base de datos. Con la realización de este proyecto se logro: 1. Facilitar la gestión Administrativa mediante el suministro oportuno de información. 2. Conocer en cualquier momento la existencia de un producto y su comportamiento estadístico dentro del flujo del negocio. 3. Conocer el estado de cuenta de cada cliente y facilitar la tarea de recaudo. Basados en la información que suministra este software, se facilitara la toma oportuna de decisiones financieras, administrativas y de mercadeo con lo cual las metas de rentabilidad presupuestadas para el negocio serán alcanzables.

The software you design, development and implement using the methodology based on the unified process of Development of Software, taking as programming language the Visual Basic Version 6 and MySQL like database motor. With the realization of this project you achievement: 1. To facilitate the Administrative management by means of the opportune supply of information. 2. To know in any moment the existence of a product and their statistical behavior inside the business flow. 3. To know the state of each client's bill and to facilitate the task of collect. Based on the information that gives this software, the opportune taking of financial, administrative decisions it was facilitated and of marketing with that which the goals of profitability budgotten for the business will be obtain.
