dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Industrial de Santander se ha destacado por ser una institución líder en el establecimiento de estrategias de mejoramiento de sus actividades y estandarización de los procesos que involucran grandes volúmenes de información, con el fin de hacerlos más eficientes y garantizar la excelente calidad tecnológica y humana que ofrece a la comunidad mediante convenios y programas de asesoría académica y empresarial. Este proyecto está orientado a brindar documentación y soporte para la elaboración de preguntas ECAES a través de información recopilada de las diversas fuentes que emite el ICFES, con el diseño de una herramienta software prototipo implementada en lenguaje Web. La herramienta software prototipo tiene opciones para la inserción, modificación y eliminación de preguntas elaboradas por parte de los usuarios con el fin de obtener un sistema más fácil de operar al momento de acceder. Adicionalmente se diseñó e implementó una base de datos, donde se almacena toda la información de los usuarios (información personal y banco de preguntas). Como resultado, las preguntas desarrolladas se hallan dentro de los estándares demandados por el ICFES para su publicación en próximas pruebas ECAES. Aparece una herramienta computacional, con capacidad de informar y almacenar preguntas que evaluarán a los próximos ingenieros del país.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Industrial University of Santander is outstanding to be an institutionleader in the establishment of strategies of improvement of its activities andstandardization of the processes that involve great volumes of information,with the purpose of doing them more efficient and guaranteeing the excellenttechnological quality and human that offers to the community by means ofagreements and programs of academic and enterprise consultant's office. This project is oriented to offer to documentation and support for theelaboration of questions ECAES through compiled information of the diversesources that emits the ICFES, the design of a software tool prototypeimplemented in language Web. The software tool prototype has options forinserci either n, modification and elimination of questions elaborated on thepart of the users with the purpose of obtaining a system the more easy tooperate at the time of acceding. Additionally a data base was designed and implemented, where all theinformation of the users is stored (personal information and bank ofquestions). Like result, the developed questions are within the standardsdemanded by the ICFES for their publication in next tests ECAES. It appears acomputacional tool, with capacity to inform and to store questions that thenext engineers of the country will evaluate.
