dc.description.abstractLos sistemas de alcantarillado son las vías de evacuación de las aguas servidas y las aguas lluvias de los asentamientos urbanos y su transporte de manera segura hasta la planta de tratamiento o punto de vertimiento, del buen estado de los sistemas, eficiencia y grado de vulnerabilidad, dependerá las calidad de vida de sus usuarios, por esta razón es primordial para toda ciudad pequeña o grande contar con un sistemas de alcantarillado sanitario y pluvial en capacidad de atender las necesidades actuales y futuras de su población. Viendo la importancia de los sistemas de alcantarillado y el problema ambiental que se está presentado en la cabecera municipal de La Belleza Santander, a raíz del mal manejo de las aguas servidas y lluvias, surge la necesidad de hacer un inventario y un diagnóstico sobre su estado actual, como herramienta necesario para la formulación de soluciones a este problema. Para lo cual se hará necesaria la realización de un trabajo de campo y así poder obtener un inventario y la información básica para la realización del diagnóstico, no solo desde el punto de vista hidráulico acorde a la metodología propuesta por la RAS 2000, sino también desde otras perspectivas; como cobertura, estado de las estructuras que lo componen y el compromiso de los habitantes del casco urbano con el medio ambiente. Conocido el diagnostico se planteara una alternativa a la problemática encontrada, la cual sea la base para la actualización del plan maestro de acueducto y alcantarillado de la cabecera municipal y una guía para el manejo de las aguas servidas de sus otros centro poblados.
dc.description.abstractenglishSewerage systems are the escape routes of sewage and storm waters from urban settlements and their transport safely to the treatment plant or discharge point. The quality of life for its users depends from the good state of the systems, efficiency and degree of vulnerability. Therefore it is essential for any small or big cities have a sewer and storm system capable of meeting the current and future needs of its population. Seeing the importance of sewerage systems and the environmental problem that is present in the municipal head of La Belleza, Santander; as a result of poor management of sewage and rain waters; it is found the need to do an inventory and evaluate its current state as a tool necessary for the formulation of solutions to this problem. To which shall be necessary to carry out a field work in order to obtain an inventory and the basic information for making the diagnosis, not only from the hydraulic point of view that is according to the methodology proposed by the RAS 2000, but also from other perspectives; such as coverage, state of the component structures and the commitment of the inhabitants of the town with the environment. Knowing the diagnosis, an alternative will be raised to solve the problems found, which be the basis for updating the master plan of water and sewage of the municipal head and also guidance for handling the sewage from their other villages.
