dc.description.abstract	Determinar el estado de conservación del suelo y relictos de bosque seco tropical, permite establecer escenarios futuros para la gestión integral de estos recursos naturales, a razón de la sobreutilización evidenciada en una escala temporal, de este modo, se analiza la influencia antrópica sobre el suelo y conservación de relictos de bosque en la vereda Juncal del municipio de Enciso Santander. Para esto, se realizó un acercamiento inicial con los habitantes y se aplicó un instrumento de campo, estructurado en aspectos socioeconómicos y ambientales. El muestro de suelo, se llevó a cabo en dos usos vocacionales, con la toma de tres muestras, a partir de las cuales se obtuvieron las propiedades físico químicas. Para el muestreo del componente forestal, se establecieron tres conglomerados en áreas con presencia de algún agente tensionaste y representativas del ecosistema, las cuales fueron estudiadas, a partir de un análisis multicriterial. La información obtenida en el instrumento de campo, se procesó mediante estadística descriptiva. Los resultados del laboratorio, fueron sometidos a la prueba no paramétrica de Kruskal-Wallis y ANOVA, para establecer diferencias significativas entre propiedades. Se realizó un análisis de componentes principales para definir el conjunto mínimo de datos y estimar el índice de calidad del suelo (ICS). Finalmente, se aplicó una correlación de Pearson para integrar indicadores de calidad del suelo y estado de conservación de los relictos de bosque. Los resultados, indican que los habitantes de la zona hacen uso frecuente del suelo bajo diferentes actividades productivas, sin garantizar su sostenibilidad. El ICS fue mejor en el bosque, donde el conglomerado dos también presentó las mejores condiciones en conservación según la metodología empleada.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Determining the conservation status of the soil and relicts of tropical dry forest, allows establishing future scenarios for the integrated management of these natural resources, due to the overutilization evidenced in a temporal scale, thus, the anthropic influence on the soil and conservation of forest relicts in the Juncal village of the municipality of Enciso Santander is analyzed. For this, an initial approach was made with the inhabitants and a field instrument was applied, structured in socioeconomic and environmental aspects. Soil sampling was carried out in two vocational uses, with the collection of three samples, from which the physical and chemical properties were obtained. For the sampling of the forest component, three clusters were established in areas with the presence of a stressful agent and representative of the ecosystem, which were studied based on a multi-criteria analysis. The information obtained from the field instrument was processed using descriptive statistics. The laboratory results were subjected to the Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric test and ANOVA to establish significant differences between properties. A principal component analysis was performed to define the minimum data set and estimate the soil quality index (SQI). Finally, a Pearson correlation was applied to integrate indicators of soil quality and conservation status of forest relicts. The results indicate that the inhabitants of the area make frequent use of the soil under different productive activities, without guaranteeing its sustainability. The SQI was better in the forest, where cluster two also presented the best conservation conditions according to the methodology used.
