dc.description.abstractEste trabajo investigativo organiza su contenido teniendo en cuenta: La definición de la problemática a partir del siguiente interrogante: ¿Qué funcionalidad tiene la aplicación de los talleres para determinar áreas en figuras planas, utilizando un patrón de medida como unidad bidimensional?, donde, a través de la introducción, los objetivos y la justificación, se evidencia el camino a seguir para ayudar a los estudiantes en la construcción del pensamiento geométrico y métrico del concepto de área, después del estudio minucioso de las actitudes, comportamiento y desempeño de los escolares. El marco teórico tomado de los aportes del modelo de Van Hiele y las acciones de Rosa María Corberan Salvador, entre otros autores, sustentan y apoyan las temáticas que van desde el concepto de longitud y superficie hasta la aplicabilidad de los mismos a través de la exploración, abstracción, clasificación, medición y estimación. La metodología parte de la investigación en el aula al denotar en ella, las falencias en los procesos matemáticos, seguida por la fundamentación del área y los principios pedagógicos aplicables al manejo de la geometría y la medición; y continua con el diseño de talleres significativos y la implementación de la propuesta junto con la descripción de las experiencias observadas durante su aplicación. Las conclusiones que finalmente, aparecen, enfatizando la importancia de la evolución en el razonamiento geométrico en los estudiantes, la utilización por parte de los docentes, de estrategias apropiadas para despertar en los educandos el análisis de situaciones genuinas que atraigan su interés, a fin de que las asuman como propias y deseen resolverlas y por último, que se sienta en la acción escolar el apoyo de los grandes pensadores que hacen que en la labor educativa sean aplicables sus aportes, beneficiando la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la matemática.

The theoretical frame taken of the contributions of the model of they go It freezes and Rosa Maria Corberan Salvador's actions, between other authors, they sustain and support the subject matters that go from the concept of length and surface up to the applicability of the same ones across the exploration, abstraction, classification, measurement and estimation. The methodology departs from the investigation in the classroom on having denoted in her, the failings in the mathematical processes, followed by the foundation of the area and the pedagogic beginning applicable to the managing of the geometry and the measurement; and it continues with the design of significant workshops and the implementation of the offer together with the description of the experiences observed during his application. The conclusions that finally, they appear, emphasizing the importance of the evolution in the geometric reasoning in the students, the utilization on the part of the teachers, of strategies adapted to wake up in the pupils the analysis of genuine situations that attract his interest, so that they assume them like own and want to solve them and finally, that feels in the school action the support of the big thinkers that they do that in the educational labor his contributions are applicable, benefiting the education and the learning of the mathematics.
