dc.description.abstractTimón S.A es una empresa con operación ininterrumpida a nivel nacional que debe evitar paradas correctivas de sus vehículos, por ello se creó la propuesta de un plan de mantenimiento predictivo para los vehículos críticos de la flota que busca aumentar la confiabilidad del proceso por medio de la técnica de análisis de aceites. Con el fin de consolidar una propuesta ajustada a las características de la flota, se realizó primero un análisis de fallas que permitió identificar una muestra de vehículos críticos, con los cuales posteriormente se realizó un análisis de aceites para identificar las fallas recurrentes. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se analizó la información recolectada mediante el muestreo de aceite, la cual permitió realizar un análisis en detalle que arrojó como resultado las causas de las fallas y facilito realizar un diagnóstico eficaz de los vehículos críticos. Con dichos elementos se consolido una propuesta de mejoramiento para el mantenimiento de la flota, que pretende fortalecer las rutinas y actividades de actualización del sistema de información de la compañía, llevando a cabo tareas de monitoreo, toma de muestras, capacitación del personal y manejo de software, con el fin de optimizar el rendimiento de disponibilidad y confiabilidad de los vehículos críticos.
