dc.description.abstract	El surgimiento de la propuesta artística viene de la preocupación causada por el progresivo deterioro de la vasta región natural del ecosistema de Santurbán debido a los problemas actuales que lo rodean. Estos problemas podrían resultar en la pérdida potencial de la experiencia única de estar en el páramo y de experimentar su peculiar flora, la cual en su mayoría se encuentra actualmente en peligro de extinción. Asimismo, esto limitaría los beneficios que el ecosistema nos brinda, empeorando nuestras condiciones de vida y las del futuro de Colombia. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo crear un espacio que refleje los elementos naturales del páramo, utilizando características del arte inmersivo y sensorial para inmortalizar las texturas, colores y sonidos de dicho ecosistema. Se pretende pensar en las generaciones futuras, quienes posiblemente no podrán experimentar esto de primera mano, sino se protege hoy este ecosistema. Lo mencionado anteriormente se origina a través de una instalación artística que estimula los sentidos de la vista, el tacto y la audición. En primer lugar, la obra en sí misma utiliza colores vivos, volúmenes, formas y tamaños llamativos, junto con una caja de exploración que documenta el proceso de creación de la pieza final. La sensación táctil se destaca a través de texturas suaves, robustas, peludas o porosas proporcionadas por lanas, vellones y cuerdas tejidas usando técnicas artesanales como el punch needle, el crochet, el latch y locker hook. Esto da como resultado dos piezas de formas orgánicas que ocupan el espacio y al mismo tiempo brindan información táctil que evoca las texturas del páramo. Por último, el sentido auditivo se activa a través de una melodía que combina los sonidos ambientales previamente grabados durante la visita al páramo, creando una atmósfera que captura la esencia nativa de estar en Santurbán.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The emergence of the artistic proposal comes from the concern caused by the progressive deterioration of the vast natural region of the Santurbán ecosystem due to the current problems surrounding it. These problems could result in the potential loss of the unique experience of being in the paramo and experiencing its peculiar flora, which is currently in danger of extinction. This would also limit the benefits that the ecosystem provides, worsening our living conditions and those of Colombia's future. This project aims to create a space that reflects the natural elements of the paramo, using features of immersive and sensory art to immortalize the textures, colors and sounds of the ecosystem. It is intended to think of future generations, who may not be able to experience this first hand. The aforementioned originates through an art installation that stimulates the senses of sight, touch and hearing. First, the work itself utilizes vivid colors, striking volumes, shapes and sizes, along with an exploration box that documents the process of creating the final piece. The tactile sensation is highlighted through soft, robust, furry or porous textures provided by wools, fleeces and ropes woven using craft techniques such as punch needle, crochet, latch and locker hook. This results in two pieces of organic shapes that occupy the space and at the same time provide tactile information that evokes the textures of the moor. Finally, the auditory sense is activated through a melody that combines the environmental sounds previously recorded during the visit to the paramo, creating an atmosphere that captures the native essence of being in Santurbán.
