dc.description.abstractDesde hace algunas décadas, el turismo en el departamento de Santander ha obtenido un auge de gran impacto, trayendo diversos públicos objetivos, el turismo en este departamento se representa mediante turismo de aventura, natural, religioso, cultural, agroturismo, entre otros. Los municipios de Florián, Barbosa, Vélez y El Peñón, ubicados en el sur del departamento de Santander, poseen un gran potencial turístico gracias a sus diversos atractivos culturales y naturales. Sin embargo, su desarrollo turístico ha sido individualizado, lo que limita su crecimiento y competitividad, para superar esta problemática, se propone la creación de un corredor turístico que unifique los principales atractivos de cada municipio, consolidando una oferta turística integral y atractiva para los visitantes. La creación del corredor turístico de estos municipios representa una oportunidad única para impulsar el desarrollo económico, social y sostenible de la región, preservando su riqueza cultural y natural para el disfrute de las generaciones presentes y futuras, para el desarrollo de este proyecto se realizará una investigación en los planes de desarrollo municipales para identificar los atractivos principales de los municipios, así como se realizará consulta de estudios y documentos existentes en el área de turismo provincial; también se visitarán los destinos para observar el comportamiento del turismo en cada uno y generar alianzas entre el municipio y las instituciones presentes.
dc.description.abstractenglishFor several decades, tourism in the department of Santander has had a great impact, bringing diverse target audiences, tourism in this department is represented by adventure tourism, natural, religious, cultural, agrotourism, among others. The municipalities of Florián, Barbosa, Vélez and El Peñón, located in the south of the department of Santander, have great tourism potential thanks to their diverse cultural and natural attractions. However, their tourism development has been individualized, which limits their growth and competitiveness. To overcome this problem, we propose the creation of a tourism corridor that unifies the main attractions of each municipality, consolidating an integral and attractive tourism offer for visitors. The creation of the tourist corridor of these municipalities represents a unique opportunity to promote the economic, social and sustainable development of the region, preserving its cultural and natural wealth for the enjoyment of present and future generations. For the development of this project, research will be carried out in the municipal development plans to identify the main attractions of the municipalities, as well as consultation of existing studies and documents in the area of provincial tourism; the destinations will also be visited to observe the behavior of tourism in each one and generate alliances between the municipality and the institutions present.
