dc.description.abstractEn la práctica hacer efectivas estrategias de sostenibilidad urbana implica profundizar en tres aspectos que son: la complejidad, la eficiencia energética y la cohesión social, cuyo objetivo principal es el de la organización del territorio con su metabolismo, atendiendo a la necesidad de todas las personas y a sus relaciones en el sistema urbano. La presencia del fenómeno de la segregación residencial socio espacial afecta directamente en la cohesión social, por ello es imprescindible medir su nivel y determinar los efectos que han surgido en las condiciones de habitabilidad; como la presencia de precariedad. En este documento se hacen comparaciones gráficas de las condiciones sociales imperantes en las distintas subdivisiones territoriales de referencia, además se realiza un análisis socio espacial del avaluó catastral de la vivienda utilizando el índice de segregación de Duncan (1995) y algunas otras variables que indican el nivel de ingresos de las personas. Lo anterior a través de un Análisis Exploratorio de Datos Espaciales (AEDE) y un Análisis de Vecindad. Los resultados muestran que el Municipio ni la comuna norte se encuentra altamente segregados según las variables utilizadas y que no existe una correlación espacial entre el valor índice a nivel barrio y el número de asentamientos precarios en ellos.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn practice, making effective urban sustainability strategies involves deepening into three aspects that are complexity, energy efficiency and social cohesion, whose main objective is the organization of the territory with its metabolism, meeting the needs of all people and its relationships in the urban system. The presence of the phenomenon of socio-spatial residential segregation directly affects social cohesion, so it is essential to measure its level and determine the effects that have arisen in the conditions of habitability; as the presence of precariousness. This document makes graphical comparisons of prevailing social conditions in the different territorial subdivisions of reference, in addition to a socio-spatial analysis of the cadastre appraisal of the dwelling using Duncan's segregation index (1995) and some other variables that indicate the income level of people. The foregoing through an Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (AEDE) and a Neighborhood Analysis. The results show that the municipality or the northern commune is highly segregated according to the variables used and that there is no spatial correlation between the index value at the neighborhood level and the number of precarious settlements in them.
