dc.description.abstractUna metodología refiere al estudio y análisis de diversos métodos susceptibles a ser utilizados para enfocar un problema con el fin de obtener la mejor solución; estructura la lógica del cómo hacer las cosas, y se apoya en los métodos y las técnicas para tal fin. Bajo esta premisa, es fundamental establecer metodologías para la realización y mejora de procesos y de la correcta ejecución de los métodos y técnicas depende su resultado final. Una de las actividades del Macro proceso de verificación empresarial en la empresa Electrificadora de Santander-ESSA es la realización del informe de sostenibilidad; dicho informe es una herramienta gerencial que comunica el desempeño de una organización en los aspectos económicos, ambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo con el fin de responder a las expectativas y necesidades de los grupos de interés. El presente proyecto de grado tiene como finalidad establecer una metodología para la elaboración del informe de sostenibilidad en ESSA, de conformidad con los lineamientos establecidos en los Estándares GRI y que mejore el resultado final del informe. Para ello, se partió por identificar fortalezas y oportunidades de mejora en la metodología actual de la empresa a través de las técnicas revisión documental y entrevistas, además para la interpretación de la información se emplearon diagramas de flujo de procesos y datos. Previo al diseño de la estructura metodológica se estudiaron e identificar los parámetros de los Estándares GRI aplicados a ESSA, se hizo un estudio de benchmarking de informes referentes del sector a nivel nacional, se realizó una prueba piloto que incorporó y evaluó varios cambios respecto a la metodología anterior y se finalizó por documentar e implementar los nuevos métodos y técnicas (Procedimiento, cronograma, estructura, formatos y documentos base) que permitan establecer un estándar para la realización de futuros informes de sostenibilidad en ESSA.
dc.description.abstractenglishA methodology refers to the study and analysis of various susceptible methods to be used to approach a problem in order to obtain the best solution; it structures the logic of how to do things, and relies on methods and techniques for that purpose. Under this premise, it is essential to establish methodologies for the realization and improvement of processes and by the correct execution of the methods and techniques depends the final result. One of the activities of the Business Verification Macro process in the Electrificadora de Santander-ESSA Company is the realization of the sustainability report; this report is a management tool that communicates the performance of an organization in the economic, environmental, social and corporate governance aspects in order to respond to the expectations and needs of the stakeholders. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to establish a methodology for the preparation of the sustainability report in ESSA, in accordance with the guidelines established in the GRI Standards and to improve the final result of the report. For this, it started by identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement in the current methodology of the company through the techniques of document review and interviews; in addition, flowcharts processes and data were used for the interpretation of information. Prior to the design of the methodological structure, the parameters of the GRI Standards applied to ESSA were studied, a benchmarking study was made of reference reports from the sector at the national level, a pilot test was carried out that incorporated and evaluated several changes with respect to the previous methodology and was finalized by documenting and implementing the new methods and techniques (Procedure, schedule, structure, formats and base documents) that allow establishing a standard for the realization of future sustainability reports in ESSA.
