dc.description.abstractLa implementación de diseños estructurales con losas en postensado es una disciplina poco conocida que más sin embargo fue implementada por primera vez de manera muy rudimentaria en el año 1886 utilizando tirantes atornillados al exterior de bloques de concreto haciendo que ellos trabajasen a compresión y hasta el año 1928 aparece la primera patente que resalta los veneficios de esta y en 1940 se usó el primer sistema de presfuerzo con anclaje y cuña. Su mayor beneficio es el aumento de las luces entre columnas, la disminución de espesores de losa, aumento en la capacidad de carga y vida útil, beneficios que se comparten en cierta medida con el uso de Building Information Modeling (BIM) cuyo objetivo principal es reducir los tiempos, costos en diseño y construcción, optimizando al máximo los recursos disponibles.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe implementation of structural designs with post-tensioned slabs is a little-known discipline that, however, was implemented for the first time in a very rudimentary way in 1886 using braces bolted to the outside of concrete blocks, making them work under compression and until the year In 1928 the first patent appears that highlights its benefits and in 1940 the first prestressing system with anchor and wedge was used. Its greatest benefit is the increase in spans between columns, the decrease in slab thickness, increase in load capacity and useful life, benefits that are shared to a certain extent with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) whose main objective is reduce times, costs in design and construction, optimizing available resources to the maximum. Starting from this basis, multiple changes and observations made during the practice by the applicant for the title of civil engineer towards the company PRETCON S.A.S.
