dc.description.abstractEste proyecto se realizó con el propósito de permitir el almacenamiento seguro del total del grano cosechado, maíz y fríjol soya, en la planta de limpieza, secamiento y almacenamiento de la hacienda fiLa Fazenda ubicada en Puerto Gaitán Meta, Colombia, una vez que sus áreas de cultivo se hubieran incrementado. El proyecto diseñado, construido e instalado consta de dos secciones claramente definidas, siendo ellas el transporte y el almacenamiento. El transporte de granos estuvo a cargo de equipos confiables de manufactura nacional, fabricados por la empresa METALTECO LTDA, de tipo transportadores de cadena, transportadores sinfín y elevadores de cangilones, seleccionados por el buen manejo que les pueden suministrar al producto, mientras que el almacenamiento se realizó utilizando silos metálicos galvanizados importados, de los fabricantes norteamericanos SCAFCO GRAIN SYSTEMS, los cuales debieron contar con sistemas de ventilación y termometría necesarios para la buena preservación del grano almacenado. Durante su paso por la planta, el grano debe pasar por tres tipos de almacenamiento según el proceso que se este llevando a cabo, secado, almacenamiento o despacho, cada uno de estos almacenamientos debe cumplir con diferentes requisitos de capacidad y funcionamiento, por lo que tuvieron que ser instalados silos de fondos cónicos y planos de diferentes diámetros y alturas, que satisficieran las necesidades de cada uno estos procesos. La distribución de los silos y de los equipos de transporte dentro de la planta se realizó pensando en permitir la posibilidad de futuras ampliaciones.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project was made in order to allow the safe storage of the total of the harvested grain, maize and soy bean, in the plant of cleaning, drying and storage of the property "La Fazenda" in Puerto Gaitan, Meta, Colombia once their areas of culture had been increased. The designed, constructed and installed project consists of two sections defined clearly, being they the transport and the storage. The grain transport was in charge of reliable equipment of national manufacture, made by the company METALTECO LTDA., like chain conveyors, screw conveyor and bucket elevators, selected by the good handling that they can provide to the product, while the storage was made using imported galvanized metallic bins from USA, made for SCAFCO GRAIN SYSTEMS, which had to count with ventilation and thermometry systems, necessary for the good preservation of the stored grain. During its passage by the plant, the grain must happen through three types of storage according to the process that this being carried out, drying, storage or dispatched, each one of these storage must fulfill different requirements of capacity and operation, reason why they had to be installed hopper and flat bottoms silos of different diameters and heights, to satisfied the necessities with each one. The distribution of the silos and the transport equipment within the plant was made thinking about to allow the possibility of expansions in the future
