dc.description.abstractenglish | Spectral images have important applications in the areas of agriculture, medicine, mining, among others. The main existent problems in the acquisition of these images are the high computational cost to store a large amount of information and the economic cost of the necessary equipment, such as sensors to capture each of the spectral bands. To overcome these problems, state-of-the-art has proposed to design compressive sensing systems for the acquisition and subsequent recovery of the spectral images. In this work, we propose an algorithm that designs a MultiSpectral Filter Array (MSFA), which is part of a compressive sensing system that uses a single based-sensor array with MSFA. The proposed algorithm focuses on the optimization of spatial and spectral correlation of the MSFA preserving randomness, resulting in the design of an MSFA that manages to improve the quality of image reconstruction using compressive sensing. The designs made by the proposed algorithm are evaluated against traditional MSFA designs, the measure for the quality of the reconstruction of the image is the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), based on the optimization of the Average Nearest-Neighbor Distance (ANND) for filter arrays.
