dc.description.abstractActualmente son muchos los tipos de fuentes usadas para realizar una representación historiográfica, pero la acá preferida son las fuentes iconográficas publicadas en prensa, como son las imágenes foto periodísticas y las caricaturas. Se buscó analizar la imagen política incorporada por un periódico local, Vanguardia Liberal, y un periódico de circulación nacional, El Tiempo, respecto a qué tan favorable era esa representación o qué tan negativa se presentaba a la opinión pública. Es un trabajo de representación del movimiento estudiantil de la UIS a partir de las fuentes iconográficas acompañadas de fuentes documentales. A partir de una metodología de análisis de fuente, donde la imagen se toma como un texto, metodología conformada de la conjunción del método iconográfico/iconológico de Panofsky, la retórica de la imagen de Barthes y la teoría de la recepción estética de Jauss, claro está, apoyadas con la teoría de la imagen y de la información. El contenido está estructurado en una introducción y el cuerpo del trabajo, el cual se divide en cuatro capítulos que son: el primero, las fuentes iconográficas y los tres restantes son la representación del movimiento estudiantil, dividido en tres periodos: el primero, Tiempos de gloria; el segundo, Tras una visión crítica se marca el punto de inflexión y el tercero, Era un suspiro lánguido y sonoro.
dc.description.abstractenglishCurrently there are many types of sources used for historiographical representation, but the favorite here are the iconographic sources published in the press, such as photojournalistic images and cartoons. We sought to analyze the political image built by a local newspaper Vanguardia Liberal, and one national newspaper, El Tiempo, regarding how favorable was the representation or how negative was presented to the public. It is a representation in the student movement of the UIS from the iconographic sources accompanied by documentary sources. From a power analysis methodology, where the image is taken as a text, methodology consists of a combination of iconographic method Panofsky, the rhetoric of the image of Barthes and aesthetic reception theory of Jauss, clear is, supported by theory and image information. The content is divided into an introduction and body of work, which is divided into four chapters which are: first, the iconographic sources and the remaining three are the representation of student movement, divided into three periods: the first, times glory, the second, after a critical view marks the turning point and the third, was a languid sigh sound.
