dc.description.abstractLa inadecuada administración de los recursos naturales y el desconocimiento de los ciclos ecológicos, han llevado al hombre a destruir grandes proporciones de biodiversidad, a reducir la calidad de vida de las poblaciones, y poner en peligro la estabilidad de las generaciones futuras; por esta razón se hace evidente la necesidad de un cambio en el comportamiento de la sociedad y una reflexión sobre el impacto que tienen las acciones humanas en el medio en el cual viven. El desarrollo sostenible como pilar del nuevo enfoque, ha permitido la creación de una economía que integra en sus estructuras las dinámicas ambientales, revolucionando las formas de producción tradicionales, basadas exclusivamente en la obtención de benéficos, sin tener en cuenta que los recursos son limitados. Por tal motivo se da paso a una visión donde la producción vaya de la mano con el medio ambiente y permita medir y evaluar las ventajas y desventajas que ofrece la agricultura orgánica como base del sostenimiento de la sociedad; para lo cual se realizara un análisis de viabilidad económica y energética de la huerta ecológica de la Vereda el Duende con el fin de saber si esta clase de agricultura y la forma como se maneja el entorno de los ecosistemas es sostenible y responde a las necesidades tanto económicas como ecológicas de la población.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe inadequate management of natural resources and the ignorance of the ecological cycles, have led man to destroy large proportions of biodiversity, to reduce the quality of life of the people, and endanger the stability of future generations; for this reason it becomes evident the need of a change in the behavior of the society and a consideration on the impact that have the human actions on the environment in which they live. Sustainable development as a pillar of the new approach, has allowed the creation of an economy that integrates in its structures the environmental dynamics, revolutionizing the traditional forms of production, based exclusively on obtaining benefits, without considering that the resources are limited. For this reason we give way to a vision where the production goes hand in hand with the environment and allows measuring and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages offered by the organic agriculture as a basis for the society sustaining; for which it will conduct an analysis of energetic and economic viability of the ecological orchard of "Vereda El Duende" in order to know if this kind of agriculture and the way how is managed the ecosystem's environment is sustainable and meets to the economic and ecological needs of the population.
