dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Industrial de Santander como entidad comprometida con el desarrollo sostenible, promueve el desarrollo y la incorporación de tecnologías amigables con el medio ambiente. Identificada esta necesidad se plantea la posibilidad de adicionar otro sistema de suministro de energía a la instalación eléctrica aprovechando el recurso solar. En concordancia a lo planteado anteriormente, este documento pretende explorar el potencial solar que se puede llegar desarrollar dentro del Campus principal de la Universidad Industrial de Santander mediante un estudio de ingeniería conceptual que comprende el análisis y selección de cubiertas y zonas endurecidas de interés, bajo criterios que comparan cuán despejadas son las zonas de estudio para la instalación de paneles fotovoltaicos y conexión a la red interna distribuida de la universidad. Para finalizar con la conclusión definitiva para decidir la viabilidad del proyecto.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Industrial University of Santander, as an entity committed to sustainable development, promotes the development and incorporation of environmentally friendly technologies. Once this need has been identified, the possibility of adding another energy supply system to the electrical installation is raised, taking advantage of the solar resource. In accordance with what was stated above, this document aims to explore the solar potential that can be developed within the main Campus of the Industrial University of Santander through a conceptual engineering study that includes the analysis and selection of roofs and hardened areas of interest, under Criteria that compare how clear are the study areas for the installation of photovoltaic panels and connection to the internal distributed network of the university. To end with the final conclusion to decide the feasibility of the project.
