dc.description.abstractPOPULARES LTDA., es una empresa santandereana que cuenta con más de 39 años en el mercado, su actividad principal es la distribución de bienes de consumo masivo, la operación principal se desarrolla en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, su estructura de distribución está dividida en tres canales, TAT, canal mayorista o ventas Bucaramanga y canal Provincias. La problemática inicial se definió como la falta de estandarización de procedimientos e integración de las áreas funcionales que intervienen en el proceso de distribución, problemas de desorganización de inventarios y demora en los tiempos de entrega. El proyecto inició con una etapa de diagnóstico, en la cual se elaboró una descripción detallada de cada uno de los procedimientos que se desarrollan en el proceso de distribución, para los cuales se identificaron los problemas que estaban generando distorsión al sistema en general, se priorizaron los de mayor impacto y se realizó una medición cuantitativa de la operación, con el fin de desarrollar un plan de mejoramiento enfocado en implementar controles y aumentar la eficiencia del proceso de distribución. La implementación se fundamentó en establecer políticas de operación para cada uno de los procedimientos, modificar y estandarizar las actividades, incorporar métodos de operación eficientes y establecer mecanismos de control. Se elaboraron los manuales de funciones y de procedimientos referentes al proceso de distribución.
dc.description.abstractenglishPOPULAR Ltda., it is a company Santandereana that counts with more than 39 years on the market, his principal activity is the distribution of consumer goods massively, the principal operation develops in Bucaramanga's city, his structure of distribution is divided in three channels, TAT, wholesale channel or sales Bucaramanga and channel Provinces. The initial problematics was defined as the lack of standardization of procedures and integration of the functional areas that intervene in the process of distribution, problems of inventor disorganization and delay in the times of delivery. The project initiated with a stage of diagnosis, in which a detailed description was elaborated of each one of the procedures that develop in the distribution process, for which identified the problems that were generating distortion to the system in general, there were prioritized those of major impact and a quantitative measurement of the operation was realized, in order to develop a plan of improvement focused in implementing controls and increasing the efficiency of the distribution process. The implementation was based in establishing policies of operation for each of the procedures, modifying and standardizing the activities, incorporating efficient methods of operation and establishing mechanisms of control. There were elaborated the manuals of functions and of procedures relating to the distribution process.
