dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como propósito analizar filosóficamente la experiencia de la enfermedad como espacio de apertura para establecer un sentido valorativo de la vida humana. Se propone exponer la relevancia del enfoque filosófico en la experiencia de la enfermedad para responder a preguntas centrales en la investigación tales como: ¿en qué consiste la enfermedad? ¿Qué significa enfermar y estar enfermo? y ¿Por qué la enfermedad constituye una oportunidad para valorar la vida humana? Esto permite mostrar que, en el padecimiento de la enfermedad grave o crónica, el cuerpo se muestra como un cuerpo vivido que reconoce sus limitaciones, fragilidades y dependencias de ser-en-el-mundo. Por ello en primer lugar, se identifica la perspectiva fenomenológica para comprender el carácter filósofo de la enfermedad a partir de la centralidad del cuerpo. En segundo lugar, se analiza qué significa la experiencia de la enfermedad y por qué exige la reinterpretación completa de la vida humana. Finalmente, se determina la importancia de la enfermedad como un proceso de aprendizaje que contribuye a desentrañar el enigma de la enfermedad desde la consideración del dolor.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this research is to analyze philosophically the experience of illness as an opening space to establish a valuative sense of human life. It is proposed to expose the relevance of the philosophical approach in the experience of illness in order to answer central questions in the research such as: what does illness consist of? What does it mean to be sick and to be sick? And why does illness constitute an opportunity to value human life? This makes it possible to show that in the suffering of serious or chronic illness, the body is shown as a lived body that recognizes its limitations, fragilities and dependencies of being-in-the-world. Therefore, first, the phenomenological perspective is identified in order to understand the philosophical character of the disease from the centrality of the body. Secondly, it analyzes what the experience of illness means and why it demands the complete reinterpretation of human life. Finally, the importance of illness as a learning process that contributes to unraveling the enigma of illness from the consideration of pain.
