dc.description.abstractLa Cátedra de la Paz se ha convertido en una forma de responder a las necesidades formativas de los estudiantes y comunidad educativa en el contexto del postconflicto, que tiene por finalidad crear y consolidar espacios para el aprendizaje, la reflexión, la generación de una cultura de paz, de convivencia y desarrollo sostenible. En este sentido, el presente trabajo de investigación surgió como una forma de identificar el estado de la Cátedra de la Paz según los directivos y estudiantes de la Institución Educativa las Américas. La investigación se enmarca dentro del enfoque cualitativo, con un diseño etnográfico que permitió caracterizar las concepciones que tienen los directivos y estudiantes sobre la Cátedra de la Paz, asimismo, determinar las fortalezas y limitaciones de la institución e identificar las alternativas que plantean estos actores para ejecutar la Cátedra de la Paz en la institución. Los resultados de la investigación contribuirán a que en la institución educativa las Américas se generen las condiciones para la adecuada implementación de la Cátedra de Paz, de manera que se planteen alternativas pedagógicas y didácticas que comprometan a la comunidad educativa, en la construcción de una cultura de paz y de convivencia.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Chair of Peace has become a way to respond to the educational needs of students and the educational community in the post-conflict context, which aims to create and consolidate spaces for learning, reflection, generation of a culture of peace, coexistence and sustainable development. In this sense, this research work emerged as a way to identify the state of the Chair of Peace according to the directors and students of the Educational Institution of the Americas. The research is framed within the qualitative approach, with an ethnographic design that allowed to characterize the conceptions that the directors and students have about the Chair of Peace, as well as to determine the strengths and limitations of the institution and identify the alternatives that these actors pose for execute the Chair of Peace in the institution. The results of the research will contribute to the creation in the educational institution of the Americas of the conditions for the proper implementation of the Chair of Peace, so that pedagogical and didactic alternatives are proposed that commit the educational community to the construction of a culture of peace and coexistence.
