dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se enfoca en el análisis semiótico del sentido del piercing en el medio escolar de Bucaramanga. Con este trabajo, se pretende identificar el sentido que tienen las perforaciones para los estudiantes de un colegio determinado y para los docentes y directivos quienes velan por el cumplimiento de las normas institucionales. Por ello, se trabaja a partir de las enunciaciones de los estudiantes como de los docentes para determinar a través del análisis semiótico las razones que llevan a los jóvenes a perforarse y a los docentes a sancionar la falta. Por esto, el trabajo se divide en dos capítulos, el primero está dedicado a identificar el sentido que tiene el piercing en la sociedad abordado desde los medios de comunicación y contemplándose como un componente de la moda; en la vida escolar trabajado dentro de un tiempo y espacio determinado. El segundo capítulo se centra en el análisis pasional a partir de las enunciaciones de los estudiantes y los docentes, determinándose un sistema axiológico que comprende y evidencia el sentido que se le da a las perforaciones y la intencionalidad que hay detrás de su práctica. El trabajo finaliza con la conclusión en donde se expresa las razones que llevan a una perforación y a un decomiso como también la contemplación de otras posibles investigaciones que giran en torno a la perforación corporal ornamentada. De la misma manera se identifica la forma como los estudiantes conciben el manual de convivencia y la manera como lo hacen los docentes, determinándose así una doble manipulación en los procesos de disciplina y del hacer cumplir la norma.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe following investigation is focused on the semiotic analysis of the body piercings’ meaning in school’s environments in Bucaramanga. In this project, it is intended to identify, in a specific school, the sense or meaning that body piercing has for students, teachers and school leaders whose interest is to meet the schools rules. That is why the starting point of this work is the student’s and teacher’s statements, in order to establish, through semiotic analysis is, the reasons why youngsters decide to have a piercing and, why teachers decide to punish the student’s action. This work is divided in two chapters, the first one is dedicated to identify the meaning that body piercing has in society from the media and fashion points of view, that influences school’s life in and specific time and place. The second chapter is focused on the passionate analysis based on the students and teachers’ statements, determining an axiological system that includes and demonstrates the meaning given to body perforations and the intent behind this practice. The work ends with a conclusion that lays out the main reasons that may lead to body perforation and the further confiscation of these pieces, as well as the contemplation of other potential research on ornamental body perforation. Also, the way how students look the school normativity paper and the way how teachers follow it out considering a double manipulation in the processes of discipline and the way haow are forced to fulfill the rules.
