dc.description.abstractEl trabajo de grado en cuestión contempla las actividades realizadas como auxiliar de ingeniería en la empresa COINCAR S.A.S para el apoyo y análisis en la construcción de pavimentos rígidos, además de un estudio realizado respecto al rendimiento de la mano de obra. Durante los cuatro meses de prácticas, se hizo supervisión y toma de datos de campo en las fases de un proyecto de obra civil ejecutado en Valledupar, Cesar, como lo son “Operación tapa huecos” y la construcción de pavimentos rígidos en barrios como “25 de Diciembre”, “Chiriquí”, “Amaneceres del valle” y “Las Manuelitas”. En el tiempo transcurrido de este periodo se logró cumplir los objetivos propuestos en el plan de trabajo siguiendo la metodología y la programación en conjunto con la empresa. Durante esta etapa se realizó un monitoreo de los criterios de calidad para la construcción de un pavimento rígido en diferentes puntos de la ciudad, los cuales involucraban todas las actividades que deben desarrollarse y la forma correcta de hacerlo según el Instituto Nacional de Vías (INVIAS) (INVIAS, 2022), también se hizo un registro de datos tomados en campo del rendimiento de la mano de obra y un contraste con los proporcionados por el INVIAS (INVIAS, 2024). Todo esto se desarrolló en compañía del ingeniero residente y del tutor de las prácticas, quienes delegaron actividades y responsabilidades para la adquisición de conocimiento y aptitudes idóneas para un ingeniero civil.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe thesis in question covers the activities carried out as an engineering assistant at COINCAR S.A.S. for support and analysis in the construction of rigid pavements, as well as a study conducted on the performance of the workforce. During the four months of the internship, field supervision and data collection were carried out in the phases of a civil engineering project executed in Valledupar, Cesar, such as the "Operación tapa huecos" and the construction of rigid pavements in neighborhoods like "25 de Diciembre," "Chiriquí," "Amaneceres del valle," and "Las Manuelitas." Throughout this period, the proposed objectives in the work plan were achieved, following the methodology and schedule in collaboration with the company. During this stage, a monitoring of the quality criteria for the construction of rigid pavements was carried out at different points in the city, which involved all the activities that need to be developed and the correct way to perform them according to National Institute of Roads (INVIAS) (INVIAS, 2022). Data collected from the field on the performance of the workforce was also recorded and compared with those provided by INVIAS. All of this was developed in collaboration with the resident engineer and the internship tutor, who delegated activities and responsibilities for the acquisition of knowledge and skills essential for a civil engineer.
