dc.description.abstractenglish | In the development of the present research project, the objective is to design and evaluate a deterministic bi-objective model for the routing problem with contamination conditions. The traditional vehicle routing problem (VRP) will be the basis for the development of the proposed model, which brings with it the incorporation of variants such as its bi-objective nature, linking the total cost minimization approach and environmental considerations. Environmental conditions have gained weight over the years in the research fields, authors such as: G. Laporte, Palmer and Bektas consider environmental considerations as a decisive factor in strategic vehicle routing decisions, especially CO2 emissions as an important focus of study. To meet the objectives set out in the present work, the mathematical model will be developed and its correct performance of the MILP model for each of the two functions separately will be validated in the GAMS tool. As a result of the literature review, it was considered that to find the non-dominated solutions of the complete bi-objective problem, the appropriate metaheuristic and recommended in previous studies, is the NSGA-II, so the coding of this in MATLAB was performed, for the validation section of the algorithm performance tests, the Tukey statistical analysis provided by the MINITAB tool was used. Through the development of the tests, it was concluded that the shortest execution time of the proposed NSGA-II algorithm is obtained with a combination of population size, crossover probability and mutation factors at low levels (50, 0.4 and 0.1, respectively). In contrast, to obtain the highest number of non-dominated solutions, a population size of 100 individuals, a crossover probability equal to 0.7 and a mutation probability of 0.1 should be set. Finally, when reviewing the non-dominated solutions found in these 2 treatments and identifying the minimum costs, it was shown that the solutions generated by treatment number 7 (with P = 50, C=0.4 and M=0.1) dominated those of treatment 1 (with P=100, C=0.7 and M=0.1).
