dc.description.abstractTRÓPICOS es una propuesta instalativa, resultado del proyecto de investigación Pintura interactiva sonora (la dialéctica como contexto evolutivo de la biodiversidad), cuya naturaleza reside en la dialéctica como eje de la transformación constante entre hombre, naturaleza y oposición de la vida y la tecnología, a pesar de lo paradójico que puede ser. El trabajo fue desarrollado durante la beca de movilidad en investigación en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM, en Ciudad de México. La instalación está compuesta por una pintura (tríptico), que muestra la resignificación de paisajes tropicales de Colombia y México (Páramo de Santurban, en Colombia, y el Bosque de Chapultepec, en México). Esta pintura reacciona con la luz negra y revela un paisaje a partir de formas iridiscentes, que a su vez remiten a un entorno totalmente distinto del paisaje inicial. Asimismo, cada panel está conectado a un circuito que permite la activación del sonido por medio del impulso-tacto del individuo; este paisaje sonoro remite a los lugares ya mencionados, de los cuales se extrae la composición pictórica y sonora. La obra propone un diálogo constante entre el individuo y objeto que posibilita el entendimiento de dicho paisaje pictórico a través del sonido. Sonido que lleva al espectador a un viaje de entornos tropicales, esto es, un discurso de la percepción espiritual en la experiencia paisajística de los terrenos explorados.
dc.description.abstractenglish“TRÓPICOS” is an installation, result of the investigation Project “pintura interactiva sonora” (the dialectics as an evolutionary context of biodiversity), with the essence within the dialectics as central axis of the constant evolution between the mankind, nature and the opposition of the life and technology, even though it could sound paradoxical on a first aproachment. The Project was developed during the scholarship of investigation on mobility at the “Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM” on the City of Mexico. The installation is composed by a painting (triptych), that shows the resignification of tropical landscapes of Colombia and Mexico (Paramo of Santurban, Colombia, and the Chapultepec Forest, Mexico). This painting reacts to the black light and reveal a landscape created from iridescent forms that at the same time forward to a totally different environment than the initial one. Each panel is connected to a circuit that enable the activation of the sound due an impulse send through the tact of the individual; this sonorous environment forward the individual to the previous mentioned places, where the pictoric and sonorous compositions are extracted. The artwork propose a constant dialog between the individual and the object that enable the understanding of the pictoric environment through the sound. This sound take the spectator to a “travel” of tropical environments, this is, a speech of spiritual perception of the environmentical experience of the explored landscapes.
