dc.description.abstractenglish | This artistic installation interprets the concepts related to brain activity in relation to the construction of memory, approached from its storage, reconsolidation and evocation, where the artistic proposal adopts this information and represents it with elements that allude to these ideas. Accordingly, the installation presents three cubicles that represent the brain as a container container, in which all the information obtained from the environment is poured, the brain collects and encodes it through the interweaving of neurons, creating connections between them that lead to the creation of networks and these allow communication between them and an effective work for the capture and storage of memories. This interweaving is presented in the work with the weaving of the threads, with which a network is created around the objects, leading to this relationship of connection, in which the objects act not only as triggers of memories but within the work symbolizes the memories that are evoked through their stimulation, these objects are carriers of emotional charges that allow their consolidation and evocation more easily. Our memories can be consolidated when the memory is activated, that is to say, when we remember, we can recover our memories several times and it is here where our memories enter a process called reconsolidation, where they can undergo modifications. In each recovery of memories a series of versions of the original memory are created, this relationship in the work is represented by the tulle that is strategically placed in layers within the cubes, by the translucency of the fabric, allows a glimpse of the objects that invoke the memory.
