dc.description.abstractLos estudios sobre las condiciones sociolabores de los maestros han generado el interés investigativo del colectivo y línea de investigación “Calidad Educativa y Gestión Escolar”, perteneciente a la Escuela de Educación de la Universidad Industrial de Santander; en el desarrollo del macroproyecto “El tiempo del maestro a través del tiempo 1870 a 2021”. El presente trabajo de investigación de enfoque cualitativo, empleó el método hermenéutico, la técnica del análisis documental y el instrumento de la ficha documental. El proceso metodológico permitió caracterizar las condiciones sociolaborales de los maestros santandereanos entre 1937 y 1979. Se identificaron las condiciones establecidas desde la normatividad de orden nacional y territorial que sortearon los educadores santandereanos de la época, entre las que se destacaron la creación, ingreso, ascenso y exclusiones del primer Escalafón Nacional; la forma de pensionarse y los salarios que devengaron. Luego, cómo estas condiciones afectaron su calidad de vida, donde se hizo mención de las manifestaciones y protestas que realizaron como gremio para mejorar su situación sociolaboral. Finalmente, se evidencian algunas las concepciones propias sobre el ser maestro, o derivadas social y escolarmente por la normatividad de la época.
dc.description.abstractenglishStudies on the socio-labor conditions of teachers have sparked research interest within the collective and research line of 'Educational Quality and School Management,' affiliated with the School of Education at the Industrial University of Santander. This is evident in the development of the macroproject 'The Teacher's Time Throughout 1870 to 2021.' This qualitative research work employed the hermeneutic method, document analysis technique, and the documentary record as an instrument. The methodological process allowed for the characterization of the socio-labor conditions of teachers in Santander between 1937 and 1979. Conditions established by national and territorial regulations that Santanderian educators of the time navigated were identified. Notable among these were the creation, entry, promotion, and exclusions within the first National Salary Scale; the pension system and the salaries they earned. Subsequently, the impact of these conditions on their quality of life was examined, including mention of the collective demonstrations and protests carried out by the professional group to enhance their socio-labor situation. Finally, there is an illustration of the individual conceptions about being a teacher, as well as those influenced socially and institutionally by the norms of that era.
