| dc.description.abstract | Proyecto artístico que aborda el mobiliario íntimo***, con la intención de indagar acerca de cómo el mueble se transforma en un contenedor, no solamente de los objetos que guarda, sino también de lo que éstos representan. Así, se plantea plásticamente una hibridación del mueble que hace caso a una analogía entre lo real y lo imaginario. El proyecto se enfoca en cuatro elementos del mobiliario que poseen una relación directa con el ser y que forman parte de su cotidianidad: el armario, el cofre, el baúl y el cajón. Cada uno fue escogido por su función característica como contenedor y por el imaginario que gira en torno hacia lo que guardan dentro de sí. Se realizaron diferentes exploraciones visuales sobre las estructuras y materiales formales del mueble, cuyo análisis ha servido para consolidar una representación plástica que permita la elaboración de piezas que conserven estructuralmente las nociones de mobiliario, y que a su vez, estén dotadas de un carácter imaginario. Posterior al proceso de análisis visual y a la exploración de técnicas vinculadas a la creación de muebles, se elige por medio de la bocetación la apariencia final de las piezas que responden mejor al interrogante: ¿Qué forma tomaría nuestro mobiliario en relación a lo intangible que contienen? | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Artistic project which addresses intimate furniture *** with the intention of inquiring about how the furniture becomes a container, not only because of the objects it keeps, but also because of what they represent. As a result, a visual proposal is made, in which trough a hybridization of the furniture an analogy between the real and the imaginary is presented The project focuses on four furniture objects which have a direct relation with the being and are part of their daily life: the wardrobe, the chest, the trunk and the drawer. Each one of them was chosen because of its function as container and because of the idea around of what they keep within themselves. Different explorations were carried out about the assemblies and materials of the furniture, its analysis was useful to consolidate the pieces that structurally preserve the notions of furniture, but also, are endowed with an imaginary component. After the process of visual analysis and the exploration of techniques related to the creation of furniture, the final shape of the pieces is elaborated according to what best respond to the question: What shape would our furniture take in relation to the insubstantial elements it contains? | |
