dc.description.abstract	El desarrollo de este proyecto artístico comenzó con una exploración poética, contemplativa y personal del territorio de la vereda El Espinal, en el municipio de Los Santos, Santander. Guiada por la memoria individual y la investigación, la obra se centra en las prácticas tabacaleras y su importancia socioeconómica en la región, destacando elementos visuales del paisaje y su vínculo con las costumbres locales. El proyecto se materializa en una instalación conformada por tres piezas: un cuadro de gran formato que representa la cartografía de la quebrada, elemento vital para el sustento de los cultivos; hojas de tabaco exhibidas en cajas de luz que realzan su textura y anatomía; y, finalmente, casas de pergamino con flores secas en su interior, que evocan el hogar y la memoria. Mediante el uso de materiales orgánicos como tierra y tabaco, se desarrolla un lenguaje plástico que reinterpreta el territorio. La instalación invita al espectador a sumergirse en la memoria, la identidad y las prácticas que configuran la relación entre el espacio y sus habitantes.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The development of this artistic project began with a poetic, contemplative, and personal exploration of the territory of the El Espinal village, located in the municipality of Los Santos, Santander. Guided by individual memory and research, the work focuses on tobacco farming practices and their socio-economic significance in the region, highlighting visual elements of the landscape and their connection to local traditions. The project is materialized in an installation composed of three pieces: a large-format painting representing the cartography of the stream, a vital element for sustaining the crops; tobacco leaves displayed in light boxes that enhance their texture and anatomy; and, finally, parchment paper houses containing dried flowers inside, evoking home and memory. Through the use of organic materials such as soil and tobacco, a plastic language is developed to reinterpret the territory. The installation invites the viewer to immerse themselves in memory, identity, and the practices that shape the relationship between the space and its inhabitants.
