dc.description.abstractEn el presente proyecto denominado “Evaluación del Crecimiento en las Plantas de Café (Coffea Arabica) Variedad Castillo, Mediante la Fertilización en la Fase de Vivero, en la Finca Golondrinas Vereda la Caldera del Municipio de Confines Santander” se pretende evaluar alternativas de crecimiento para las plantas de café variedad castillo en la fase de vivero en el municipio de Confines; con base en el planteamiento de la presente investigación, se hace necesario identificar el uso adecuado del fertilizante con el fin de aportar al adecuado manejo agronómico de los cafetales; de la misma manera, se busca enfatizar en la implementación de materia orgánica y de variedad de productos químicos que aporten una visión acertada sobre la práctica de producción y nutrición para el adecuado manejo del café en estado de almacigo. La relevancia del café se enfatiza desde su nivel económico, ambiental y social, de tal forma que este se ha convertido en uno de los productos de exportación más importantes en Colombia. En lo que respecta a la metodología, se establece como base el tipo de investigación experimental con enfoque cualitativo mediante la técnica de observación de campo. Para la culminación del proyecto se plantea como objetivo general evaluar el crecimiento en las plantas de café (Coffea Arabica) variedad castillo en la fase de vivero, ubicado en el municipio de Confines (Santander), mediante abonos nutricionales para la estimulación del crecimiento de las plantas, obteniendo como resultado principal que los diferentes tratamientos que se establecieron para la fertilización de las plantas de café en vivero demarcaron un crecimiento evaluado por una medición en raíces, hojas y en altura, concluyendo que el tratamiento con la aplicación de fertilizante cada 20 días logró un aumento de nutrientes reflejado en un mayor crecimiento.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this project called "Evaluation of Growth in Coffee Plants (Coffea Arabica) Variety Castillo, Through Fertilization in the Nursery Phase, in the Golondrinas Vereda la Caldera Farm of the Municipality of Confines Santander" it is intended to evaluate growth alternatives for the Castillo variety coffee plants in the nursery phase in the municipality of Confines; Based on the approach of this research, it is necessary to identify the proper use of the fertilizer in order to contribute to the proper agronomic management of coffee plantations; In the same way, it seeks to emphasize the implementation of organic matter and a variety of chemical products that provide an accurate vision of the production and nutrition practice for the proper management of coffee in the nursery state. The relevance of coffee is emphasized from its economic, environmental and social level, in such a way that it has become one of the most important export products in Colombia. Regarding the methodology, the type of experimental research with a qualitative approach is established as a basis through the field observation technique. For the culmination of the project, the general objective is to evaluate the growth of coffee plants (Coffea Arabica) Castillo variety in the nursery phase, located in the municipality of Confines (Santander), by means of nutritional fertilizers for the stimulation of the growth of the plants, obtaining as a main result that the different treatments that were established for the fertilization of the coffee plants in the nursery demarcated a growth evaluated by a measurement in roots, leaves and height, concluding that the treatment with the application of fertilizer every 20 days achieved an increase in nutrients reflected in greater growth
