dc.description.abstractEn las ganaderías bovinas el aprovechamiento de cada metro cuadrado de terreno es fundamental ya que permite la administración de más animales o el desarrollo de más alimento para los animales. Sin embargo, dependiendo de la geografía u otras condiciones especiales del terreno existen zonas que no es viable su aprovechamiento para estos fines, bien sea por el alto riesgo para los animales o sensibilidad ambiental o mejor oportunidad en su uso. La apicultura se presta como alternativa para el aprovechamiento ambiental y económico de estas zonas. Las abejas son consideradas los polinizadores por excelencia ya que son altamente eficaces. La polinización es de gran relevancia para la humanidad ya que es fundamental para la reproducción de plantas, por lo tanto, para la producción de semillas y frutos, al igual que la polinización de los pastos que alimenta al ganado, aumentando el alimento disponible para el ganado. El objetivo general de este trabajo plantea realizar un estudio de prefactibilidad para la construcción de un apiario en EC ganadería que permita la explotación de zonas inutilizadas por la ganadería. En este trabajo se presenta el planteamiento del problema y justificación pasando a un análisis del mercado nacional con fuentes secundarias, continuando con una revisión bibliográfica sobre apicultura y teoría a aplicar que permitió desarrollar un estudio técnico para demostrar la viabilidad técnica de la propuesta y finalizando con una evaluación financiera del proyecto.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn cattle farms, the use of each square meter of land is fundamental since it allows the administration of more animals or the elaboration of more food for the animals. However, depending on the geography or other special conditions of the land, there are areas where it is not feasible to use it for these purposes, either due to the high risk for the animals or due to environmental sensitivity or better opportunity in its use. Beekeeping lends itself as an alternative for the environmental and economic use of these areas. Bees are considered the quintessential pollinators as they are highly efficient. Pollination is of great importance for humanity since it is essential for the reproduction of plants, therefore, for the production of seeds and fruits, as well as the pollination of grasses that feed livestock, increasing the food available for livestock . The general objective of this paper is to carry out a pre-feasibility study for the construction of an apiary in EC Ganadería that allows the exploitation of areas not used by livestock. In this paper, the approach to the problem and justification is presented, passing to an analysis of the national market with secondary sources, continuing with a bibliographic review on beekeeping and the theory to be applied, which allowed the development of a technical study to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the proposal and ending with a financial evaluation of the project.
