dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado se desarrolla en el marco de una práctica empresarial realizada en la Electrificadora de Santander (ESSA E.S.P.), en la cual se desempeñó el rol de auxiliar en ingeniería civil para la administración, gestión y ejecución de contratos de obras de infraestructura. La labor principal consistió en apoyar el equipo de Gestión Locativa y Transportes, supervisando proyectos de construcción y remodelación. Durante la práctica, se trabajó en cuatro proyectos clave: la construcción de la nueva sede administrativa en San Alberto, la remodelación de baterías sanitarias en la sede principal de Bucaramanga, la construcción del edificio de la Corporación Recreativa ESSA – Club La Chispa y la modificación del contrato CW301129. En estos proyectos, se llevaron a cabo actividades como la elaboración de especificaciones técnicas, el seguimiento y control de contratos, la supervisión de avances de obra y la documentación de modificaciones contractuales. Durante la experiencia de la práctica, el principal factor que impacto la ejecución de los trabajos de obra estuvo asociados a atrasos en actividades que generaran malestar y perturbación a la armonía del ambiente laboral, obligando a contratistas a trasladar los trabajos de estas actividades a horarios nocturnos. Adicionalmente, se enfrentaron retrasos asociados a entrega tardía de materiales (porcelanas sanitarias), afectando otras actividades del cronograma. No obstante, la planificación y la flexibilidad en la gestión contractual permitieron que los proyectos se completaran dentro del tiempo estipulado. Como parte de la práctica, se elaboraron planos de redes hidráulicas y sanitarias en Revit, basados en levantamientos de campo. En conclusión, esta experiencia permitió desarrollar habilidades en gestión de contratos, supervisión de obras y análisis de documentación técnica, esenciales para la administración de infraestructura en el sector eléctrico.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present undergraduate work is developed within the framework of a business internship carried out at Electrificadora de Santander (ESSA E.S.P.), where the role of a civil engineering assistant was performed for the administration, management, and execution of infrastructure project contracts. The main task consisted of supporting the Locative Management and Transport team by supervising construction and remodeling projects. During the internship, work was carried out on four key projects: the construction of the new administrative headquarters in San Alberto, the remodeling of sanitary facilities at the main headquarters in Bucaramanga, the construction of the building for the ESSA Recreational Corporation – Club La Chispa, and the modification of contract CW301129. In these projects, activities such as the preparation of technical specifications, contract monitoring and control, supervision of construction progress, and documentation of contractual modifications were performed. During the internship experience, the main factors impacting the execution of construction work were associated with delays in activities that caused discomfort and disruptions to workplace harmony, forcing contractors to shift these activities to nighttime hours. Additionally, delays were encountered due to the late delivery of materials (sanitary, porcelains), affecting other scheduled activities. However, planning and flexibility in contract management allowed the projects to be completed within the stipulated timeframe. As part of the internship, as-built plans of hydraulic and sanitary networks were developed in Revit, based on field surveys. In conclusion, this experience enabled the development of skills in contract management, construction supervision, and technical documentation analysis, which are essential for infrastructure administration in the electrical sector.
