dc.description.abstractLa presente es una investigación cualitativa, con enfoque fenomenológico que pretende analizar los factores que transforman la identidad cultural de los jóvenes en los espacios locales. El estudio fue desarrollado en el municipio de Simacota Santander, ubicado en la provincia comunera de este departamento. En la fase de campo se usó la entrevista semiestructurada como principal herramienta para comprender el fenómeno desde la percepción de los sujetos de estudio y a su vez, se usaron los diarios de campo, la observación y los grupos focales. De acuerdo con los hallazgos, se evidencia el arraigo existente por parte de los jóvenes hacia prácticas tradicionales, esto debido a la fuerza con las que se busca reproducir culturalmente estos repertorios por parte de instituciones como la alcaldía, el colegio y la iglesia católica. Sin embargo, las nuevas corrientes de pensamiento, de clara tendencia posmoderna han irrumpido con fuerza el espacio en donde se ubica el municipio, las T.I.C su vehículo, transforman y mutan las prácticas y costumbres ancestrales, generando conflictividad en los imaginarios colectivos de identidad. De esta manera, el joven se enfrenta constantemente a una lucha entre lo tradicional y lo moderno y bajo la influencia de estas dos fuerzas construye su identidad, la cual, aún parece valorar lo tradicional, pero con la tendencia de transitar el deslumbrante mundo liberal del capitalismo tecnológico
dc.description.abstractenglishThis is qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach that aims to analyze the factors that transform the cultural identity of young people in local spaces. The study was developed in the municipality of Simacota Santander, located in the province Comunera of this department. In the field phase, the semistructured interview was used as the main tool to understand the phenomenon from the perception of the study subjects and in turn, field diaries, observation and focus groups were used. According to the findings, the existing roots of young people towards traditional practices are evidenced, this due to the force with which they seek to culturally reproduce these repertoires by institutions such as the mayor's office, the school and the Catholic Church. However, the new currents of thought, with a clear postmodern tendency, have forcefully entered the space where the municipality is located, the I.C.T. its vehicle, transform and mutate ancestral practices and customs, generating conflict in the collective imaginary of identity. In this way, the young man constantly faces a struggle between the traditional and the modern and under the influence of these two forces builds his identity, which, still seems to value the traditional, but with the tendency to travel the dazzling liberal world of the technological capitalism
