dc.description.abstractEn el presente proyecto se realiza con el fin de determinar la factibilidad para la construcción de una planta pasteurizadora de leche en el municipio de Cimitarra, Santander, que permita contribuir a la mejora de las condiciones económicas y técnicas de los productores del municipio. El proyecto surge de observar que el municipio posee un gran potencial lechero del cual puede introducir un valor agregado al producto que se vende dentro y fuera del territorio del Magdalena Medio. Sin embargo, los productores de leche de Cimitarra han optado por el acopio de la leche para posteriormente ser enviado, principalmente, a Bucaramanga y resto del país para la correspondiente pasteurización y otras transformaciones, desperdiciando el potencial del municipio de Cimitarra para vender la leche en bolsa con marca propia.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn the present project, it is carried out in order to determine the feasibility for the construction of a milk pasteurization plant in the municipality of Cimitarra, Santander, which allows contributing to the improvement of the economic and technical conditions of the producers of the municipality. The project arises fromobserving that the municipality has great dairy potential from which it canintroduce added value to the product that is sold inside and outside the Magdalena Medio territory. However, the Cimitarra milk producers have opted forthe collection of milk to later be sent to Bucaramanga and the rest of the countryfor the corresponding pasteurization and other transformations, wasting the potential of the municipality of Cimitarra to sell milk in bags with its own brand.
