Adecuación de los bancos utilizados para el laboratorio de diseño de máquinas y elaboración de software multimedia para el desarrollo de las practicas

dc.description.abstractCon la realización de este trabajo de grado se pretende dotar a la Escuela de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Industrial de Santander de una estructura física y metodológica para implementar el Laboratorio de Diseño de Maquinas, haciendo posible la realización de practicas que complementen de manera experimental las teorías expuestas por lo profesores en clase. En el documento se identifican 3 etapas básicas las cuales abarcan el proceso completo en el desarrollo y ejecución de este proyecto. Estas etapas se exponen a continuación: En la primera fase se realizó una inspección de los bancos e infraestructura existente, además se analizaron las condiciones de espacio y sitio adecuado para el montaje de este laboratorio. Con los resultados obtenidos de esta inspección se procedió a realizar todas las actividades necesarias para el reacondicionamiento de los equipos; Las actividades desarrolladas fueron el mantenimiento a cada uno de los equipos, reparación de los elementos dañados, selección y compra de los elementos faltantes y montaje de los equipos. En la siguiente etapa se realizo una recopilación de información teórica y técnica que nos permitiera desarrollar los temas a tratar en cada una de las prácticas; para esta fase fue de suma importancia la bibliografía recolectada de las anteriores tesis de grado sobre los temas tratados en el laboratorio. Con la suficiente documentación sobre el tema se procedió a rediseñar metodológicamente, a definir y fundamentar cada una de las pruebas a realizar en el laboratorio. En la última fase se realiza una síntesis de todo el trabajo realizado; plasmado en el diseño de un software multimedia que contiene la documentación suficiente para desarrollar el laboratorio, permitiéndoles a los estudiantes tener un mejor aprovechamiento de los equipos con que se cuenta. El objetivo de esta herramienta computacional es generar procedimientos que le permitan al estudiante reforzar de forma sencilla y practica los temas de la cátedra de diseño. Como resultado final obtuvimos el funcionamiento de cada uno de los bancos del laboratorio de diseño de maquinas, un manual de practicas definidas y preparadas para cada uno de los equipos. Adicionalmente se dejan documentación sobre los parámetros generales, manejo y recomendaciones de operación y mantenimiento de cada uno de los bancos.
dc.description.abstractenglishWith the making of this thesis project we pretend to endow the Mechanical Engineering School of the Universidad Industrial de Santander of a physical and methodical structure to implement a Machine Design Laboratory, making possible the making of practices that complement in an empirical manner the theories exposed by teachers in class. In the document 3 basic phases are identified which grip the complete process in the development and execution of this project. These phases are exposed up next: In the first phase we made an inspection of the banks and existing infrastructure, besides we analyzed the conditions of space and adequate location for the erection of this laboratory. With the results obtained of this inspection we proceeded to perform all necessary activities for the reconditioning of the equipments; the activities developed were the maintenance to each and every one of the equipments, repair of damaged elements, selection and acquisition of lacking elements and mounting of equipments. In the next phase we made a recompilation of theory and technical information that allowed us to develop the themes to be treated en each one of the practices; for this phase it was of great importance the bibliography collected from earlier thesis projects about the issues treated in the laboratory. With sufficient documentation about the subject, we proceeded to redesign methodically, define and fundament each one of the tests to be performed in the laboratory. In the final phase we make a synthesis of all of the work performed; based on the design of a multimedia software that contains the sufficient documentation to develop the laboratory, allowing students to have a better gaining of knowledge of the equipments that he has. The objective of this computer tool is to generate procedures that allow the student to reinforce in a simple and practical way the subjects treated in the design theory. As a final result we obtained the functioning of each one of the machine design laboratory banks, a practice manual defined and prepared for each one of the equipments. Additionally we leave a documentations about the general parameters, management and recommendations for operation and maintenance for each one of the banks.
