dc.description.abstractLa parte baja del municipio de los Santos, Santander se caracteriza por ser una zona árida por lo que el cultivo de nopal se desarrolla muy bien, sin embargo, gran parte de la población santera desconoce sus beneficios y los múltiples usos que se le pueden dar, buscando expandir el conocimiento sobre qué es el nopal y el cómo darle un valor agroindustrial se desarrolló un jabón facial de nopal y aceite de coco, un jabón que resalta las propiedades del nopal en la piel y que tiene como fin abarcar la demanda de productos orgánicos, naturales y/o artesanales locales por parte de los hoteles y/o glampings. El propósito principal de esta investigación es elaborar un jabón de nopal y aceite de coco de excelente calidad para ofrecer un producto seguro, eficiente y amigable con el medio ambiente, en el caso particular del jabón cosmético se aprovecharán los residuos de la penca de nopal para alimentación animal. El método usado es la investigación aplicada y mixta, se emplearon las siguientes técnicas para el análisis y procesamiento de la información, tablas de grado de maduración del nopal, análisis fisicoquímico y microbiológico y la encuesta de la aceptabilidad del jabón y tabulación de la misma y los resultados obtenidos fueron un pH de 10.8 y en el análisis microbiológico se encontró que el jabón cumple con las especificaciones técnicas establecidas en la resolución 2120 del 2019
dc.description.abstractenglishThe lower part of the municipality of Los Santos, Santander is characterized by being an arid area, which is why the cultivation of nopal develops very well, however, a large part of the Santera population is unaware of its benefits and the multiple uses that can be given to it, seeking to expand knowledge about what the nopal is and how to give it an agro-industrial value, a facial soap made of nopal and coconut oil was developed, a soap that highlights the properties of the nopal on the skin and aims to meet the demand for organic, natural and / or local artisanal products by hotels and / or glampings. The main purpose of this research is to develop a nopal and coconut oil soap of excellent quality to offer a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly product, in the particular case of cosmetic soap, the waste from the nopal stalk will be used for animal feed. The method used is applied and mixed research, the following techniques were used for the analysis and processing of information, tables of the degree of maturation of the nopal, physicochemical and microbiological analysis and the survey of the acceptability of the soap and tabulation of the same and the results obtained were a pH of 10.8 and in the microbiological analysis it was found that the soap complies with the technical specifications established in resolution 2120 of 2019.
