dc.description.abstractEl estudio de pertinencia se enfoca en evaluar la relevancia del programa, para ello, se llevó a cabo un diagnóstico inicial, análisis de la oferta educativa, investigación de mercado, formulación de estrategias y elaboración de un plan de acción. Se analizó la demanda laboral y las competencias necesarias a través de encuestas a egresados, estudiantes de últimos semestres del Programa de Biología, docentes del programa, empleadores y estudiantes de últimos cursos de colegios del área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga, para comprender las necesidades del mercado laboral y las expectativas de los estudiantes. El estudio se centra en evaluar la satisfacción de los grupos de interés, el fortalecimiento de la posición, la proyección social y la mejora de la empleabilidad para dar respuesta a la demanda laboral. Se propone un plan de acción que incluye la revisión del currículo, nuevas metodologías de enseñanza, fortalecimiento de la formación práctica, promoción de la interdisciplinariedad, creación de alianzas estratégicas, programas de inserción laboral y atención al bienestar estudiantil. Este plan busca mejorar la pertinencia y posicionamiento del programa, formando profesionales altamente capacitados en el campo de la biología.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe relevance study focuses on evaluating the relevance of the program, for this, an initial diagnosis, analysis of the educational offer, market research, formulation of strategies and preparation of an action plan were carried out. The labor demand and the necessary skills were analyzed through surveys of graduates, students in the last semesters of the Biology Program, teachers of the program, employers and students in the last years of schools in the Metropolitan area of Bucaramanga, to understand the needs of the labor market. and student expectations. The study focuses on evaluating the satisfaction of interest groups, strengthening the position, social projection and improving employability to respond to labor demand. An action plan is proposed that includes the revision of the curriculum, new teaching methodologies, strengthening of practical training, promotion of interdisciplinarity, creation of strategic alliances, job placement programs and attention to student welfare. This plan seeks to improve the relevance and positioning of the program, training highly trained professionals in the field of biology.
