dc.description.abstractEl portal web de la EISI se ha convertido en el medio de comunicación e información más importante con el que cuentan sus usuarios, es por esta razón, que cada uno de sus aportes y sugerencias se convierten en un elemento indispensable y primordial para el enriquecimiento y mejora continua de los servicios ofrecidos, permitiendo así la consolidación del portal EISIWeb como una herramienta que permita construir comunidad. Por tal motivo, el grupo de desarrollo de software Calumet se ha encargado de la implementación de nuevos servicios dinámicos y mejoras en algunos de los módulos que lo componen. Es así, que se consideró esencial mejorar la presentación de los contenidos multimedia asociados a cada asignatura dentro del entorno de trabajo del Aula Virtual de Aprendizaje (A.V.A) para el estudiante, además de crear los módulos para presentar talleres y exámenes en línea. Estos nuevos módulos complementan a los ya existentes en el entorno del aula virtual para el estudiante, por lo cual resultó necesario desarrollar un módulo que le permita al docente tener un control del A.V.A para cada uno de sus grupos de clase. En esta interface el docente puede establecer las fechas de inicio y finalización de las actividades, conformar subgrupos de clase, calificar las diferentes actividades y las preguntas abiertas de los talleres y exámenes, ver las notas a la fecha y avalar el inicio o terminación de los exámenes programados. El profesor podrá ver las actividades de la semana actual y a su vez desplazarse semanas adelante y atrás. Adicionalmente se implantó el módulo de Trabajos de Grado en el portal EEIEWeb. Por consiguiente el A.V.A se promueve como un espacio interactivo y dinámico que permite la integración entre docente-estudiante y estudiante-estudiante, cuyo propósito se fundamenta en fortalecer los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe EISI web site has become the most important way of communication and information for people who use it, this is why each comment and suggestion made by the users, become indispensable and essential for the enrichment and continuous improvement of services offered to them, allowing the consolidation of EISIWeb site as a tool for the use of the community. For this reason, the software development group Calumet has been responsible for the improvement of new dynamic services and software updates. It was considered essential to improve the multimedia content presentation related to each subject within the working environment of the Virtual Learning Room (V.L.R) for the student, and create modules that allow taking worksheets and online tests. These new modules are a complement for the existing ones in the virtual room environment for students, so it was necessary to develop a module that allows the teacher to control the V.L.R for each of his or her groups of students. In this interface, the teacher can set the start and the end dates of activities, organize the class by subgroups, grade the different activities and the open questions in the worksheets and tests, check the updated notes and set the beginning or ending dates of scheduled tests. The teacher can check the current activities of the week and, at the same time, turn to check other weeks, back and forth. Additionally, a Final Project (thesis work) module was added to the EEIEWeb portal. Therefore, the V.L.R is promoted as an interactive and a dynamic space that offers the necessary tools to allow the teacher-student and student-student interactions. It combines the technology with the teaching process and creates an environment for students that make the learning process a didactic tool for knowledge.
