dc.description.abstractEl portal web de la EIM se ha posicionado como el medio de comunicación más importante para la comunidad dentro del ámbito académico y administrativo, por esta razón las necesidades de la comunidad son un factor importante para la continua innovación en los procesos y mejora de los servicios que ofrece el portal, de esta manera se ha logrado la formación de un sitio web donde se fomenta la participación activa de sus miembros. Por estos motivos el Grupo de desarrollo de software Calumet tiene como objetivo la implementación de nuevos servicios y el mantenimiento de los mismos. Dentro de la comunidad de la EIM la participación e interacción de profesores y grupos con los medios externos tanto de la escuela como de la universidad tienen un papel importante dentro del desarrollo académico y productivo de la escuela, por este motivo se ha creado los módulos: Portal del Profesor y Portal de los Grupos, que darán soporte a la función implícita de cada uno de estos dentro de la Escuela y la Universidad, brindado herramientas para la ampliación de su alcance. El portal del profesor es un módulo que le permite al Docente la tenencia de su propia página web con dirección propia en Internet donde se presentara información relacionada al mismo, además de las actuaciones propias de el en el portal. De Igual manera el Portal de los grupos ofrece a estos un espacio virtual con dirección propia en Internet donde se brindan los servicios de Foros, Envió de Correos, Cartelera, Eventos y la gestión de los miembros y la información relacionada al grupo. Por otra parte se rediseño la interfaz principal del portal y se creó el módulo de novedades el cual permite dar a conocer a los usuarios el continuo trabajo e innovación del grupo Calumet.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe EIM's website actually is the most important communication medium to the EIM community. For this reason, the community needs, are an important factor for the continuous innovations in the processes and the services that offer Calumet. With this philosophy the develop software group CALUMET has develop a website that promote the active participation of community. The community feedback are the most important tools for create new services and the maintaining them. Inside the EIM's community the participation and the interactions of teachers, students and administrative people with the external and internal communication mediums has an important position inside the academic and productive develop of the EIM. For this reason, Calumet has developed the next modules: the teacher's and group's website portals. These portals will bring support to the academic labors of the teachers and his groups inside the school and the university. The teacher's website is a module where the teacher has his own space in Internet to present his curriculum vitae and his actualizations of the working inside the school. At the same way, the group's portal brings a virtual space with his own address, where you can find the service of forums, email, billboard, events and the management of information of the members and his relationship on the groups. Also, we redesign the graphical user interface of the portal and we create the modules of news. This modules allows to the users know about the innovations of Calumet.
