dc.description.abstractEl profesional de enfermería, como responsable directo del cuidado de individuos y comunidades en las diferentes etapas del ciclo vital, debe brindar acciones encaminadas a mantener y mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Si bien estas acciones se desarrollan en mayor medida en la vida profesional a través de la experiencia, se requiere que durante la formación del programa de enfermería se obtengan aprendizajes significativos. Dado el gran número de casos de pacientes que presentan lesiones en piel en las instituciones de salud, centros geriátricos y domicilios, el poco tiempo que se dedica en el pregrado a este tema y a su vez la baja oferta de posgrados enfocados al manejo de heridas y ostomías, la educación superior colombiana necesita que los docentes implementen estrategias de enseñanza adecuadas para propiciar ambientes de aprendizaje efectivos que contribuyan a que los estudiantes desarrollen prácticas humanizadas que cumplan con los estándares de calidad pertinentes y de esta forma minimizar la aparición, tiempo de tratamiento y secuelas de las heridas en los pacientes . Por ende, esta monografía presenta un diseño microcurricular que incluye estrategias didácticas y técnicas de evaluación para el cuidado de pacientes con heridas durante el pregrado de enfermería. dc.description.abstractenglishThe nursing professional, as the person directly responsible for the care of individuals and communities in the different stages of the life cycle, must provide actions aimed at maintaining and improving the quality of life of patients. Although these actions are developed to a greater extent in professional life through experience, it is required that during the formation of the nursing program significant learning be obtained. Given the large number of cases of patients with skin lesions in health institutions, geriatric centers and homes, the short time spent in the undergraduate to this topic and in turn the low supply of postgraduate programs focused on wound management and ostomies, Colombian higher education needs teachers to implement appropriate teaching strategies to foster effective learning environments that help students develop humanized practices that meet relevant quality standards and thus minimize the appearance, treatment time and Sequelae of the wounds in the patients. Therefore, this monograph presents a microcurricular design that includes didactic strategies and evaluation techniques for the care of patients with injuries during undergraduate nursing.
