dc.description.abstractEste trabajo identifica de qué manera influyo la acción los Determinantes Sociales de Salud a través de la adopción del Plan Decenal de Salud Pública por parte de Santander y Antioquia, sobre los resultados del pilar de salud del Índice Departamental de Competitividad para el periodo 2012-2017. Para cumplir con el objetivo, se utiliza como fuente de información el Plan Operativo Anual de Inversiones y los informes emitidos por el Consejo Privado de Competitividad, posteriormente se realiza una relación entre estas causas y resultados, con los cuales se observa que el departamento de Santander presenta una evolución negativa en factores como primera infancia y calidad, mientras que cobertura es el subpilar que tiene mejores resultados. Por su parte, Antioquia se destaca por una evolución positiva en factores como primera infancia y cobertura, mientras que calidad es el subpilar con la evolución menos favorable. Finalmente se identifican tres aspectos que influyeron en los resultados de salud en cada departamento, entre ellas, la forma de adopción del Plan Decenal de Salud Pública, el manejo de recursos en cada departamento, y la distribución priorizada de acuerdo a los objetivos de cada gobierno en el periodo de estudio con enfoque de inversión en los subpilares, cobertura, primera infancia y calidad. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research identifies how the action of the Social Determinants of Health influenced through the adoption of the Ten-year Public Plan on Behalf of Santander and Antioquia departments, on the results of the health pillar by the Index of Departamental Competitiveness during 2012 to 2017. In order to achieve with the objective, there has been chosen as source of information the annual operational investment plan and the reports issued by the private competitiveness Council, afterwards there has been given a relationship among these causes and results, on which it is observed that the department of Santander presents negative results in factors such as early childhood and quality, meanwhile the coverage is the subcategory that has a better result. On the other side, Antioquia stands out for having great improvement in factors such as early childhood and coverage while quality is the subcategory with the least favorable evolution. Lastly, there has been identified three aspects that influenced on the health outcomes on each department, among them, the way the Ten-year Public Health Plan has been adopted, the management of resources on each department, and the prioritized distribution during the research period with the focus of investing on each of the following subcategories: Coverage, Early childhood, and Quality.
