dc.description.abstractDurante muchos años la relación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza se ha determinado por el poder que ejercen los individuos sobre esta última, viéndola como un recurso para satisfacer las necesidades tanto personales como colectivas. Dicha relación ha contribuido en el deterioro y contaminación de fauna y flora, teniendo como consecuencia la ocurrencia de desastres naturales. La presente investigación evidencia la percepción socioambiental de los habitantes del Barrio Nacional la Isla, quienes se encuentran ubicados en las márgenes del Río de Oro, Municipio de Girón, Santander, y la estrecha relación con la fisatisfacciónfl de la necesidad de protección, acceso a la vivienda, dando paso a la conformación de asentamientos en zonas de alto riesgo de inundación; evidenciando la carencia de planificación y ordenamiento del territorio por parte de la administración municipal; para lo cual se retoman las teoría del Desarrollo a Escala Humana y la geografía humanista teniendo en cuenta los aportes de Yin Fu Tuan. Con el presente trabajo se hace una descripción del tipo de vivienda teniendo como referencia el año en que llegaron los habitantes al Barrio, además, se realiza un análisis de la construcción social de un desastre natural por inundación asumiendo la normativa vigente en materia de prevención y mitigacion de desastres.
dc.description.abstractenglishDuring many years the relationship between the human being and the nature has been determined by the power that the individuals exercise on this last one, seeing it as a resource to satisfy the personal as collective necessities. This relationship has contributed in the deterioration and contamination of the fauna and flora, having as consequence the occurrence of natural disasters. The present investigation evidences the socioambiental perception of the inhabitants of the Barrio Nacional la Isla, who are located in the riverbanks of the RÍo de Oro, Municipality of Girón, Santander, and the narrow relationship with the "satisfaction" and the necessity of protection, access to the housing, opening the way to the conformation of establishments in areas of high flood risk; evidencing the lack of planning and classification of the territory on the part of the municipal administration; as regards are recaptured the theory from the Development to Human Scale and the humanist geography keeping in mind the contributions of Yin Ugh Tuan. This investigation shows a description of the housing type made having like reference the year in that the inhabitants arrived to the Neighborhood, also, is carried out an analysis of the social construction of a natural disaster for flood assuming the normative one effective as regards prevention and mitigation of disasters.
