dc.description.abstractEn el desarrollo del presente trabajo, se realizará un estudio detallado y sistemático de la llamada Topología de compacto-abierto en espacios de funciones, cuya motivación inicia con el estudio de los espacios métricos, los espacios topológicos y las aplicaciones continuas entre dos espacios topológicos. Para nuestro propósito hemos organizado el trabajo en cuatro capítulos. En el primer capítulo, titulado Preliminares, se establecen algunos conceptos y resultados conocidos, que se necesitarán en el desarrollo de los capítulos posteriores. En el segundo capítulo que titulamos La Topología de Compacto-Abierto y que constituye el capítulo central del trabajo, encontramos la definición de topología de compacto-abierto que se denota por c-topología, algunos ejemplos que ilustran las propiedades y los resultados más importantes que se fueron estudiando en el transcurso del trabajo. El hecho más importante de la c-topología está referenciado en este capítulo (Teorema 2.3.1), al igual que un análisis del artículo [4] y los resultados obtenidos por Ralph H. Fox en [3]. El tercer capítulo, titulado Otras Topologías sobre Espacios de Funciones, incluye la convergencia secuencial y la convergencia punto a punto, algunos resultados importantes donde se hacen algunas comparaciones entre la topología compacto-abierto y estas otras topologías definidas en el espacio En el cuarto y último capítulo presentamos algunas conclusiones y tareas pendientes que surgieron a través del transcurso de nuestro trabajo. Cabe anotar aquí que dentro del desarrollo del trabajo, pudimos obtener algunos pequeños aportes y escribimos algunas demostraciones que no aparecían en los textos consultados Finalmente, pensamos que el análisis hecho aquí es útil para estudiantes de la carrera de Matemáticas y de Licenciatura en Matemáticas tanto de pregrado como de maestría que puedan estar interesados en conocer este tema y esperamos que las tareas pendientes puedan servir como tema de otros trabajos.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this work, we make a detailed and systematic study of the so-called compact-open topology in function spaces. Study of the compact-open topology begins with the study of metric spaces, topological spaces and continuous maps between two topological spaces. For our purpose we have organized the work into four chapters. Some concepts and known results that will be needed in the development of the later chapters are, set in the first chapter, entitled Preliminaries. In the second chapter, titled The Compact-Open Topology and which is the central chapter of the work, we find the definition of compact-open topology, some examples illustrating the properties of this topoñogy, and the most important results that we studied during the work. The most important fact about the compact-open topology is referenced in this chapter (Theorem 2.3.1), as well as an analysis of the paper [4] and the results obtained by Ralph H. Fox in [3]. The third chapter, entitled Other Topologies on functions spaces, includes sequential convergence, pointwise convergence and some important results which establish some comparisons between the compact-open topology and others topologies on the function space . In the fourth and final chapter, we present some conclusions and pending which that emerged through the course of our work. It should be noted here that in the development of the work, we were able to get some small contributions and wrote some proofs that we didn’t found in the references consulted. Finally, we think that the analysis done in our work, is useful for students of Mathematics and Lic. in Mathematics both undergraduate and masters, who may be interested in knowing this topic and we hope that the remaining tasks can serve as a topic for further works.
