dc.description.abstract	El proyecto "Una aproximación a las prácticas de la brujería en Girón Santander Colombia" no solo proporciona una exploración detallada de la brujería en este municipio colombiano, sino que también emprende una síntesis artística de sus hallazgos. La investigación comienza con un contexto histórico sobre la brujería que da claridad sobre cómo llega la bujería a Colombia y las percepciones que trae consigo el concepto de brujería. Se aborda la evolución histórica de la figura de la bruja, desde un símbolo de temor y persecución hasta uno de resistencia y desafío contra sistemas opresivos. A partir de esto y a través de un estudio etnográfico se ofrece una exploración detallada y multifacética de la brujería en este municipio colombiano, revelando cómo estas prácticas están profundamente arraigadas en la cultura y vida cotidiana de sus habitantes. La investigación comienza con un contexto cultural que destaca cómo la brujería en Girón trasciende la mera leyenda para convertirse en una parte esencial de la vida local. Profundizando en la diversidad de las prácticas de brujería, el estudio identifica una clara distinción entre la "brujería buena" (magia blanca) y la "brujería mala" (magia negra), resaltando que estas prácticas varían significativamente entre individuos y están alineadas con fuerzas positivas o negativas. Se exploran las múltiples facetas de la brujería, desde rezos hasta rituales con tabaco, mostrando su naturaleza no homogénea. El sincretismo cultural es evidente y el estudio logra encontrar que el vudú es una práctica de brujería que cimenta bases sólidas en estas prácticas en Girón. Esta práctica refleja la riqueza y complejidad de la brujería en la región, siendo el resultado de una mezcla de tradiciones y creencias que han evolucionado a lo largo del tiempo. Durante la investigación, se recogieron evidencias e historias descriptivas que ilustran lo usuales y diversas que son estas prácticas y cómo toman forma en la vida diaria de los habitantes. Se subraya que, más allá de los rituales y objetos, la brujería es una realidad tangible para quienes la habitan, afectando profundamente su cosmovisión y su interacción con el entorno. El estudio concluye resaltando la importancia de entender cómo el mundo brujeril se vuelve real para los habitantes de Girón. Plantea que este fenómeno cultural, a menudo estigmatizado, es fundamental para comprender la identidad social y cultural de la región. Además, enfatiza el valor del arte y la etnografía en enriquecer nuestra comprensión de estos fenómenos complejos, invitando a la reflexión sobre la influencia y el significado de estas prácticas en la vida cotidiana y abriendo un espacio para el diálogo y la comprensión que superan estigmas y simplificaciones. Intrínsecamente, este proyecto no solo es una exploración etnográfica sino también un empeño artístico, donde la conceptualización y el análisis plástico juegan un papel fundamental. A través de su desarrollo, se entrelaza sutilmente la investigación con la creación artística, ofreciendo una perspectiva única que va más allá de lo académico y se adentra en lo creativo. Este enfoque dual invita al lector a intuir las profundidades de la brujería en Girón, no solo como un fenómeno cultural y espiritual, sino también como una fuente de inspiración y expresión artística.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The project "An Approach to the Practices of Witchcraft in Girón, Santander, Colombia" not only provides a detailed exploration of witchcraft in this Colombian municipality, but also undertakes an artistic synthesis of its findings. The research begins with a historical context about witchcraft, shedding light on how witchcraft arrived in Colombia and the perceptions it brought with the concept of witchcraft. It addresses the historical evolution of the figure of the witch, from a symbol of fear and persecution to one of resistance and defiance against oppressive systems. From this, through an ethnographic study, a detailed and multifaceted exploration of witchcraft in this Colombian municipality is offered, revealing how these practices are deeply rooted in the culture and daily life of its inhabitants. The research begins with a cultural context that highlights how witchcraft in Girón transcends mere legend to become an essential part of local life. Delving into the diversity of witchcraft practices, the study identifies a clear distinction between "good witchcraft" (white magic) and "bad witchcraft" (black magic), highlighting that these practices vary significantly among individuals and are aligned with positive or negative forces. The multiple facets of witchcraft, from prayers to tobacco rituals, are explored, showing its non-homogeneous nature. Cultural syncretism is evident, and the study finds that voodoo is a witchcraft practice that lays solid foundations in these practices in Girón. This practice reflects the richness and complexity of witchcraft in the region, being the result of a mix of traditions and beliefs that have evolved over time. During the research, descriptive stories and evidence were collected, illustrating how usual and diverse these practices are and how they take shape in the daily lives of the inhabitants. It is emphasized that, beyond rituals and objects, witchcraft is a tangible reality for those who inhabit it, profoundly affecting their worldview and their interaction with the environment. The study concludes by highlighting the importance of understanding how the witchcraft world becomes real for the inhabitants of Girón. It suggests that this cultural phenomenon, often stigmatized, is fundamental to understanding the social and cultural identity of the region. Additionally, it emphasizes the value of art and ethnography in enriching our understanding of these complex phenomena, inviting reflection on the influence and meaning of these practices in everyday life and opening a space for dialogue and understanding that transcends stigmas and simplifications. Intrinsically, this project is not only an ethnographic exploration but also an artistic endeavor, where conceptualization and artistic analysis play a fundamental role. Throughout its development, the research is subtly interwoven with artistic creation, offering a unique perspective that goes beyond the academic and delves into the creative. This dual approach invites the reader to intuit the depths of witchcraft in Girón, not only as a cultural and spiritual phenomenon but also as a source of inspiration and artistic expression.
