dc.description.abstract	Palabras clave: Paisaje, Ruralidad, Memoria, Arte Relacional, Carreteras. Esta obra plantea una reflexión sobre los desafíos territoriales, a partir del problema de conexión vial, especialmente en las vías rurales, clasificadas como terciarias. Este recorrido de paisaje por caminos, senderos, puentes artesanales y trochas en la Vereda Caldera de Garagoa Boyacá, lugar de origen de la artista, esto la llevó a indagar junto a una comunidad rural una práctica organizativa conocida como Mandato. En esta práctica los habitantes en la vereda se reúnen para analizar alguna dificultad común en su sistema de carreteras o acueductos comunales, donde acuerdan una fecha y un lugar o tramo específico que requiera reparaciones o mantenimientos. Este ejercicio con la comunidad permitió entender el Mandato como una habilidad cultural que vincula el pensamiento y fuerza colectiva ante las necesidades de su territorio. Así como podemos identificar el Mandato como una práctica de inteligencia colectiva, es importante visibilizar que la cooperación y autogobierno son habilidades que el campesinado ha desarrollado para afrontar antagonismos categóricos. Es clave señalar que históricamente el estado Colombiano ha operado bajo un sistema masivo de sobornos a funcionarios y políticos para favorecer empresarios en procesos de licitación de grandes obras de inversión para construcción de carreteras nacionales, generando también desarrollos geográficos desiguales donde algunas zonas se enriquecen y otras se empobrecen. El objetivo de esta propuesta artística consiste en ofrecer una aproximación crítica y reivindicativa del campesino comunal ante un panorama nacional antagónico. Para lograr esto, se pone ilustrar un Fanzine para instalar una imprenta artesanal donde el espectador puede descubrir qué es el Mandato a medida que hace sus propias copias, la instalación de esta imprenta está acompañada por ejercicios de creación participativa como una señal de tránsito personalizada e ilustraciones ornitológicas que reproducen refranes escuchados en el trabajo de campo. A partir de este punto se proponen obras que reflejan la corrupción como un hecho cultural, individualista y artificial.

Wanderer, your footstepsare the path and nothing more; wanderer, there is no path, the path is made by walking Making paths can be an allegory for life and the process of self-discovery over the time, but also, making paths in the rural areas of Colombia is a necessity that obligate its inhabitants to be responsible political subjects in the construction and maintenance of their own tertiary roads. After walking through the Caldera path located in Garagoa, Boyacá, where Clemems Martínez’s parents were born and currently live, the intention to represent the peasantry political organization and the paths as pictorical theme arose. Through an interactive installation featuring artisanal printing, found objects, illustrations, and dual images, cultural extremes are revealed, highlighting the relevance of organized communities in a monopolized and individualistic country. Just as paths cross and diverge, the artist decides to explore different possibilities. The choice to take the path of satire to represent a corrupt monopoly was the return and conclusion of this journey, as when she set out, her search was for small traces, trails, and real paths where she would encounter Los Correcaminos, a group of friends and neighbors who occasionally gather to repair and maintain their roads, whether it rains heavily or lightly. This places the artist as an observer of this practice while simultaneously traversing that metaphorical path of self-discovery. From these journeys, feelings of belonging and pride emerge, but also of injustice. How could she represent what reminds her of where she comes from without exposing the historical reality of the country?
