dc.description.abstractLa valoración histórica realizada en este trabajo de grado buscó poner en evidencia las cualidades testimoniales, informativas e históricas que posee la documentación fotográfica con fecha 1952-1966, perteneciente a la sección Reportería. Para lograr esto se propuso el desarrollo de cuatro capítulos con los cuales se buscó abordar el objeto de estudio partiendo de sus aspectos generales, es decir el conocimiento de creación, producción y acumulación del material fotográfico, para luego centrarse en las particularidades de la documentación perteneciente a la sección, y uso como documento histórico. Por poco más de medio siglo, los fotógrafos Mariela Noriega Noriega y Jesús Flórez capturaron a través del lente de sus cámaras, los acontecimientos de tipo social, familiar, religioso, político y económico, entre otros, que transcurrieron en gran parte del territorio de la Provincia de Guanentá y de sus alrededores. En ese sentido, el material gráfico preservado en el Subfondo proporciona una extensa y valiosa cantidad de información que abre el camino al desarrollo de investigaciones en distintas ramas del conocimiento, y en particular en la historia.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe historical assessment carried out in this paper sought to evidence the testimonial, informative and historical qualities that were held within the photographic documentation dated 1952-1966 from the Reporting section. Four chapters were proposed in this paper in order to approach the object of the study from its general aspects, meaning acknowledging the creation, production and collection of photographic material as well as focusing on the particular features of the documents belonging to the section and its use as historical documentation. For a little more than half a century, the photographers Mariela Noriega and Jesús Flórez captured through their camera lens, the social, familiar, religious, political and economic events that took place in a great part of the Guanentá Province and its surroundings. In this respect, the material preserved in the Flórez-Noriega photographic Sub-fund provides an extensive and valuable amount of information that opens up the way for future research in different fields of knowledge particularly Historical.
