dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de grado pretende profundizar en la argumentación del diálogo El Crátilo del filósofo griego Platón, con la intención de acercarnos a la formulación del problema de la exactitud que existe entre los nombres y las cosas. Por tanto, este trabajo discute tres momentos claves que corresponde a las tres esferas de conocimiento que explora el filósofo en el interior de esta obra filosófica: la sofistica, la poética y la filosofía misma. Y, de esta forma, recorrer el camino que enfrentó Platón, durante las líneas de su diálogo sobre el lenguaje, con los principales mentores de su tiempo: Homero y Hesíodo, Protágoras y Heráclito de Éfeso. Por otro lado, conoceremos el planteamiento que cada uno de estos exponentes de la educación del pueblo griego propone en torno a la originalidad de la exactitud de los nombres con las cosas, así como también la propuesta del origen del primer nombre. Propondremos que el espacio del diálogo relacionado con la parte de las etimologías es fundamental, en la medida en que nos permite observar la separación entre el mito y el logos. Y, finalmente, nos enfocaremos en la crítica que realiza el escritor de la República al filósofo Heráclito de Éfeso.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis degree project aims to deepen the argumentation of the dialogue The Cratylus of the Greek philosopher Plato, with the intention of approaching the formulation of the problem of the accuracy that exists between names and things. Therefore, this paper discusses three key moments that correspond to the three spheres of knowledge explored by the philosopher within this philosophical work: sophistics, poetics, and philosophy itself. And, in this way, follow the path that Plato faced, during the lines of his dialogue on language, with the main mentors of his time: Homer and Hesiod, Protagoras and Heraclitus of Ephesus. On the other hand, we will know the approach that each of these exponents of the education of the Greek people proposes regarding the originality of the exactness of names with things, as well as the proposal of the origin of the first name. We will propose that the dialogue space related to the etymologies part is fundamental, insofar as it allows us to observe the separation between myth and logos. And, finally, we will focus on the criticism made by the writer of the Republic to the philosopher Heraclitus of Ephesus.
