dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo de investigación se abordó como tema principal la Educación Inclusiva. De manera específica se centró en la población en condición de discapacidad, ya que es preocupante la persistencia de barreras u obstáculos que dificultan o hacen complejo que estas personas puedan acceder y continuar sus estudios sin ningún inconveniente. Para fines de esta investigación, se tuvo en cuenta el ámbito educativo superior. Por lo tanto, se tuvo como punto de referencia la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana seccional Bucaramanga - UPB, ya que es una institución que se ha sumado a esta nueva visión de Educación. Así pues, para tener un panorama amplio sobre la Educación Inclusiva dentro de la UPB se consideró necesario analizar la percepción que tiene la comunidad universitaria frente a la Educación Inclusiva de personas en situación de discapacidad. Además, se hizo una revisión bibliográfica a nivel global y nacional que permitió profundizar e identificar cómo se está manejando esta temática en universidades de otros países. Así mismo, se llevó a cabo una revisión de aquellos documentos legales que protegen a las personas con discapacidad y que, sobre todo, hacen mención de su derecho a la Educación. En cuanto al marco teórico se tomó la teoría de Vygotsky y el Enfoque de Desarrollo Humano, puesto que ambos se involucran con el desarrollo como tal del ser humano y de lo fundamental que es el entorno para lograr dicho desarrollo. Para el proceso de investigación, se trabajó una metodología bimodal. De tipo cualitativo con enfoque fenomenológico y de tipo cuantitativo con enfoque descriptivo. En lo que respecta a los resultados, lo que principalmente se quiso lograr fue la elaboración de una propuesta que permita el mejoramiento del programa de inclusión de la institución.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this research work, Inclusive Education was addressed as the main topic. It specifically focused on the population with disabilities, since the persistence of barriers or obstacles that make it difficult or complex for these people to access and continue their studies without any inconvenience is worrying. For the purposes of this research, the higher educational field was taken into account. Therefore, the University Pontificia Bolivariana seccional Bucaramanga - UPB was taken as a point of reference, since it is an institution that has joined this new vision of Education. Thus, in order to have a broad panorama of Inclusive Education within the UPB, it was considered necessary to analyze the perception that the university community has regarding Inclusive Education of people with disabilities. In addition, a bibliographic review was carried out at a global and national level that allowed to deepen and identify how this issue is being handled in universities in other countries. Likewise, a review was carried out of those legal documents that protect people with disabilities and that, above all, make mention of their right to Education. Regarding the theoretical framework, Vygotsky's theory and the Human Development Approach were taken, since both are involved with the development as such of the human being and how fundamental the environment is to achieve said development. For the research process, a bimodal methodology was used. Qualitative with a phenomenologicapproach and quantitative with a descriptive approach. Regarding the results, what was mainly wanted to achieve was the elaboration of a proposal that allows the improvement of the inclusion program of the institution.
