dc.description.abstractLa Universidad Industrial de Santander cuenta con más de 900 estudiantes que usan su bicicleta como medio de transporte y cuenta con algunos programas para aumentar el número de bici-usuarios, uno de ellos es el programa de movilidad que plantea la ciudad de Bucaramanga conectando algunas de sus bici-rutas con la universidad. Por esta razón el campus cuenta con bici-parqueaderos distribuidos en los diferentes edificios de la institución, pero estos no han sido aceptados por los bici-usuarios ya que se han visto utilizando otros objetos que no están hechos para cumplir está función (barandas, árboles, rejas). El problema de no contar con un sistema integrado de estacionamiento de la bicicleta conlleva no sólo una falta de seguridad para los bici-usuarios, ya que se corre el riesgo de robo o pérdida, sino además un deterioro del medio ambiente y demás espacios del campus. Este proyecto quiere plantear un dispositivo para la organización y el parqueo de bicicletas en la universidad y los bici-usuarios que hay en ella. permitiendo orientar los aspectos a evaluar en los espacios que ya existen en la universidad y proponer una solución a través de factores como: la seguridad de las bicicletas, la distancia que existe entre las personas y los parqueaderos, la exposición al sol o lluvia y la disponibilidad de cupos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Industrial University of Santander has more than 900 students who use their bicycle as a means of transportation and has some programs to increase the number of bike-users; one of the programs is the mobility program that the city of Bucaramanga proposes, connecting some of his bike-routes with the university. For this reason the campus has bike-parking spaces distributed in the different buildings of the institution, however these bike-parking have not been totally accepted by the bike-users since they have been seen using other different objects which are not meant to fulfill this function (as railings, trees , bars) that best meet this need. The problem of not having an integrated bicycle parking system involves not only a lack of security for the bike-users, since there is a risk of theft or loss, but also a deterioration of the environment and other campus spaces. This project intends to propose a device for the organization and parking of bicycles at the university and the bicycle users there. Allowing guiding the aspects to be evaluated in the spaces that already exist in the university and proposing a solution through factors such as: bicycle safety, the distance between people and parking lots, exposure to sun or rain and quota availability. Responding to the problem that the bike-users of the university face.
