dc.description.abstractenglish | This work is focused on the analysis of the Dual Reciprocity Method (MRD), amathematical tool that allows dealing with domain integrals that appear in the so-called Boundary Elements Methods, through a series expansion with approximation functions. The method was used tosolve homogeneous linear problems such as Laplace’s equation, non-homogeneous linear problemssuch as the poisson equation, and non-linear problems as the Burgers equation and time dependentas the heat equation, with domain a circumference, using Dirichlet, Neumann and Mixed boundaryconditions. The Dual Reciprocity Method (DMR) was introduced by Nardini and Brebbia in 1982 forelastodynamic problems and extended by Wrobel and Brebbia to problems diffusion in 1986, althoughnot as widely used as the method of elements finite or finite difference, has been used in various research works including the 2-Dimensional Navier-Stokes equation, Helmholtz problems, Stokes flow,magneto-hydrodynamic flow, haptotaxis and haptotaxis-chemotaxis problems, among others. In thisproject it is planned to introduce the basic theoretical aspects related to dual reciprocity method. Theproblem is to understand the mathematical aspects that allow the deduction of the numerical schemesand the implementation of the different routines in Matlab software, addressing some simple problemsof linear and nonlinear differential equations.
