dc.description.abstractEste trabajo tuvo como objetivo crear seis obras originales influenciadas por el jazz y el world music, aplicando la composición y la improvisación como herramientas de exploración y aprendizaje. A lo largo de este proceso, se busca demostrar estos elementos como herramientas que fortalecen el aprendizaje musical, la capacidad de creación y el desarrollo artístico del músico en formación. El enfoque metodológico de este trabajo fue de carácter cualitativo. Este proyecto se basó en la creación y el análisis formal de cada composición, abordando aspectos estilísticos, melódicos, armónicos, rítmicos y estructurales. Además, se evidencia el proceso creativo, mostrando las decisiones compositivas tomadas en cada etapa. La metodología incluye las siguientes fases: 1. Exploración estilística y análisis de referencias del jazz y el world music mediante transcripciones y el estudio del lenguaje. 2. Composición y arreglos, desarrollo melódico, armónico, rítmico y estructural de las obras. 3. Ensamble y montaje, donde se interpretan las obras en grupo, incorporando la improvisación como factor clave. 4. Grabación y producción, con el objetivo de dejar evidencia en un material sonoro final. Este trabajo evidencia que el trabajo entre composición e improvisación permite no solo la creación de piezas con identidad propia, sino que también facilita la comprensión e interpretación de diversos lenguajes musicales siempre y cuando haya un trabajo de análisis y práctica, contribuyendo al desarrollo técnico, conceptual y artístico del músico en formación. En conclusión, este trabajo resalta la importancia de la composición y la improvisación para el crecimiento artístico/profesional.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project aimed to create six original works influenced by jazz and world music, applying composition and improvisation as tools for exploration and learning. Throughout this process, these elements are presented as key resources that strengthen musical learning, creative ability, and the artistic development of the emerging musician. The methodological approach of this work is qualitative in nature. The project is based on the creation and formal analysis of each composition, addressing stylistic, melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, and structural aspects. Furthermore, it highlights the creative process by documenting compositional decisions at each stage. The methodology includes the following phases: 1. Stylistic exploration and analysis of jazz and world music references through transcription and language study. 2. Composition and arrangement, focusing on melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, and structural development. 3. Ensemble rehearsal and performance, where the works are interpreted collectively, incorporating improvisation as a key component. 4. Recording and production, with the aim of producing a final audio document. This project demonstrates that the interaction between composition and improvisation enables the creation of original works with a distinct identity and also enhances the understanding and interpretation of diverse musical languages, as long as analysis and practice are involved. Ultimately, this work emphasizes the importance of composition and improvisation in the artistic and professional growth of the musician.
